Timothy's P.O.V
"Alright, Timothy it looks like it spread to your lungs. You will be coughing blood and it will be hard to breathe. I'd have to say this spread faster then we thought." Dr. Wilson said. I looked down.
"How long?" I asked.
"3-4 weeks. The cure is still possible, all you have to do is-."
"I told you before. I don't want it." I said getting up and putting my shirt on.
"OK of course sir." He said. I looked at him.
"Am I free to go? My daughter's boyfriend is throwing this family gets together and I'm expected to be there." I asked.
"Yeah, sure." He said. I put my shoes back on. "How did your daughter take the news?" He asked. I looked at him.
"I didn't tell her." I said.
"Excuse me for asking but how do you go to a family event and look your daughter in the eyes nowing you only have a few weeks left?" He said.
Call me a monster but I want to be with my wife and I dont want my last few weeks with my daughter crying. She just got her family back together and I will be taring it apart. No one will ever know how hard it is for me to leave her alone in this world but she has gone through so much more then I ever thought was possible. She can handle herself. God gave me a chance to see my wife again. And its my time anyway. I have lived 45 years on this earth everything has a expiration date and mine has expired.
"Its hard but i manage. She has lost so much and all i ever did for 5 years was cry. I don't want it to be like that anymore." I said. He nodded.
"And her son? How is he gonna act when he finds out?" He asked.
"He's got a great father." I said.
"Yes but he grew attached to you over the years and you leaving him will only hurt him." He said. I grabbed my phone and place it in my jean pocket and looked at him.
"Thanks doc for the check up but i feel fine." I said. He nodded and I walk out. I needed to see my little angel. She makes my worst days turn into magical ones. I get out to my car and drive to a near by store picking up some flowers.
