Y/N boiled the kettle for the fifth time that morning, already filled to the brim with tea and wired with caffeine, she busied herself getting the cups and teabags ready.

Another quick glance at the clock only seemed to confirm that soon Jungkook would arrive at the office, her stomach knotted up.

"Y/N? Is everything okay? You've been making drinks all morning."

Y/N's POV

I chuckled, albeit a nervous one as Yerin stood in the doorway.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I guess it's just me feeling restless, didn't really sleep much last night."

Yerin furrowed her brow and flashed a genuine smile, it was obvious she could sense something was wrong but didn't question me about it further.

"I'll finish making the drinks, why don't you run these to the copy room. It'll hopefully help you calm down a little, get some fresh air."

Yerin handed me a file, I took it without question and gave a nod.

The copy room was the next floor up, I would normally take the elevator but maybe Yerin was right and getting some fresh air would do me some good.

I left the kitchen and headed down the hallway, everyone was busy at their desks finishing work for our new client.

I stopped outside Jungkook's office, he didn't seem to be inside as the blinds were still closed. I let out a relieved sigh, hopefully I could get through today without having to see him.

I reached the fire escape door, pushing it open and walking out. Two flights of stairs greeted me, one going down to the finance department below and the other heading in the direction I required.

I took a moment to compose myself, my mind a complete mess after what happened the previous evening.

I was angry with myself, frustration overwhelming me. I just didn't understand why my body was betraying me like this, yes I found Jungkook attractive and yes he definitely turned me on but this was supposed to be a fresh start for me.
