Chapter 11: Honourable Opponent

It’s our very first battle for me and Sako as ‘Twin Fate’. After what happened to Kireina, I can’t even control of myself. My body move with its own. Sako right behind me as I on my way to attack the one who attack Kireina.

Kaneko: “Katō, kare to tatakau tame ni hitsuyōna buki.” (Kato, you a need weapon to fight him.)

Kato: “Dakara watashi ni hitotsu ataete kudasai.” (So give me one.)

Kaneko: “Anata wa dore ga hoshīdesu ka? Yumi ya ken?” Which one do you want? A bow or a sword?)

Kato: “Ken.” (Sword)

Kaneko: “Ryōkai” (Roger that)

A black sword appear in my hand. When I try to swing it, I feel a great force in it.

Koneko: “Sako. Anata wa buki ga hitsuyōdesu. Dochira o o nozomidesu ka? Yumi ka ken?” (Sako, what weapon that you would want to use? A bow or a sword)

Sako: “Ga hoshī -” (I want a-)

Kato: “Sako! Senaka kara watashi o sasaeru koto ga dekiru yō ni yumi o erande kudasai.Watashi wa anata ga sore o senmon ni shite iru koto o shitte imasu.” (Choose bow so you can support me from the back. And I know you are an expert with it.)

Sako: “Wakata, onii-chan. Koneko-chan!” (Okay, onii-chan.Koneko-chan!)

A white bow appeared in Sako hand. But there’s no arrow or anything that Sako could use to shoot the attacker. Koneko told Sako to pull the string and release it. A magic arrow will come out of the bow.

Attacker: “Watashi o kōgeki shite kudasai! Watashi wa kimitachi ga dono yō ni kyōryokuna tesuto shite mimashou!” (Come attack me! Let me test how strong you guys are!)

Kato: “Anata wa watashi ga shitte iru koto o shitte iru” (You know I will!)

I swung my sword at him and he dodge my attack every time. Sako arrow can’t even hit him. “Kore wa anata no 2-ri no yuiitsu no chikaradesu ka? Watashi wa hijō ni shitsubō shite imasu.” (Is this the only power you two have? I'm very disappointed.). He looks very disappointed at us. We try as hard as we can but none of our attack hit him. He suddenly move away from two us. And told us that we are a boring opponent.

Attacker: “Tabun watashi wa anata no yūjin to issho ni imakoko de anata o 2-ri korosubekidesu.” (Maybe I should kill you two here right now along with your friends.)

Kato: “Watashi wa anata ga yorokonde okonau yō ni shimasen!” (I won't let you do as you pleased!)

Kaneko: “Katō san... Watashi wa kore o iu koto o nikumu ga, watashitachiha ima, kare o taosu koto wa dekimasen. Anata to anata no futago wa mada kono chikara de atarashīdesu.” (Kato-san... I hate to say this but we cannot defeat him right now. You and your twin still new with this power.)

Kato: “Dakedo...” (But…)

Kaneko: “Imanotokoro taikai shimashou. Koneko to watashi wa kotori no soba no sekai ni modoru pōtaru o hirakimasu.” (Let's withdraw for now. Koneko and I going to open a portal back to your world near Kotori.)

Kato: “Wakata. Sako! Watashitachiha genjitsu sekai ni modoru tsumoridesu.” (Go tell Kotori and Kireina to get ready.)

Sako: “Wakata.” (I understand)

Sako went to Kotori and Kireina as I try to protect them from any attacks from the attacker. It’s a bit strange, he don’t even move a little indeed he just smiles at us. Kaneko and Koneko came out from our body and created a portal back to the real world. I grab Kireina on my back (because she still unconscious) and run to the portal. “Matteimasu. Tsuin Unmei!” (I’ll be waiting. Twin Fate!). He let us escaped. As I about to enter the portal, I said “Watashitachi wa shimasu. Wareware wa futatabi anata ni au toki, anata wa tsuin unmei... To shite watashitachi o sanshō shite kudasai suru Tsuin Unmei-desu!” (We will. when we meet you again, you're going to see us as... Twin Fate!).

For a moment I think that the attacker only want to fight a worthy opponent. But Sako and I still don’t know why we are the chosen one to protect his world from threads. Maybe there are more people that want to fight us like Dark Rose and the attacker that we fought today.

When we returned to the real world, It’s already late night. I ask Kotori to spend the night at Our Home. She agreed and we walked back to the house. As we headed to my house and Sako. My eyes became dark and I felt kind of dizzy…
