Chapter 53: The Feeling

Wendy: "...Aishiteimasu. Katō-sama. Hihi." (...I Love you. Master Kato. Hihi.) *grinned

That's the first time in my life someone confessed their feelings towards me. I was silent for a moment. I didn't know how to reacts to her confession.

Wendy: "Katō-sama. Kokuhaku o ukeiremasu ka?" (So, Kato-sama. Do you accept my confession?)

Kato: "Ore wa... Ore..." (I... I...)

Suddenly bells ring. Wendy decided to stop the conversation and return to class

Wendy: "Zan'nen'na. Kurasu ni modoru hitsuyō ga arimasu. Ikou." (Too bad. We need to return to class. Let's go.) –walks away-

I was standing still for a while. I was thinking about what just happened. I was, speechless...

~In the hallway

Wendy: -walking-

Kotori: "Matte." (Wait.)

Wendy: "Ara sore ga kurasu tantōshadenai baai. Don'na goyōdeshou ka?" (If it isn't the class rep. How can I help you?)

Kotori: "Katō-kun kara hanarete taizai shite kudasai." (Please stay away from Kato.)

Wendy: "Nazedesu ka? Masaka, anata wa watashitachi no kaiwa o kiite shitto shimasu ka?" (Why is that? Could it be, you heard our conversation and got jealous?)

Kotori: "Dono yō ni--- Tada kare kara hanarete kudasai. Anata wa nani ka warui koto o keikaku shite iru no o shi~tsu. Watashi ga shinakereba naranainara, watashi wa anata o tomeru koto o tameratte imasen." (How did you... Just stay away from him. I know you are planning something bad. I won't hesitate to stop you if I have to.)

Wendy: "Hmm? Sore o ittaga, watashi wa anata no shin no dōki o shitte iru. Hoka ni," (You say that, but I know your true motive. Besides,)

Wendy slowly reached Kotori's ear.

Wendy: "Chōdo anata no yō ni, watashi wa kare ni koishite imasu." (Just like you, I'm in love with him.)

Kotori: *startled* "Hanarete!" (Stay away from me!) –push Wendy-

Wendy: "Hihi. Mata ne." (See you later.)

Kotori: -breathing hard- "Watashi no kokoro ni kono kimochi wa nanidesu ka... Watashi no... Watashi no..." (What is this feeling in my heart... I... I...)

Kato: "Kotori?"

Kotori: "Kyaa!?"

Kato: "Animonodesu ka-- (What are you--)

Kotori: "Baka!!!" –punch Kato-

I got thrown to a wall by Kotori punch. It leaves me with a massive pain. She then ran back to the class leaving me lying on the floor. I stand up and started to walk back to class. I don't understand why did she punched me. I guess she's in a bad mood or something.

When I entered the class, all of the male students glared at me. It made me feel uncomfortable.

Sako: "Nani ga okotta, onii-chan? Anata no hoho wa akadesu." (What happened, onii-chan? Your cheeks are red.)

Kato: "Daijōbudesu. Shinpaishinaide." (I'm fine. Don't worry.)

I look at Kotori side but she won't look at me back. I wonder if I made her mad or something. I decided to apologize at her after schools end.

After school ended, I went to Kotori's desk. She stood up and get out of class while saying goodbye to Sako. I couldn't stand still and decided to go after her. When I was just about to start running, suddenly my arms got grabbed. It was Wendy. She asked me to walk her home. Everyone in the class stared at me waiting for my answer. I looked at Sako's and Kireina's way and they gave me a worried look.

Kato: "Gomen. Sugu ni ienikaeru hitsuyō ga arimasu." (Sorry. I need to head home at once.)

Wendy: "Naze?" (Why?)

Kato: "Watashiniha riyū ga arimasu. Sate, anata wa ore o kyoka sureba." (I have my reason. Now, if you let me.)

I forced to myself out of Wendy's grip and grabbed Sako's and Kireina's hands and started walking. Sako asked me what's wrong. But I said that Ririnko wanted us to go home as soon as possible. After we walked a distance from the class I released Sako's and Kireina's hand. But Kireina kept holding my hand.

Kato: "Doshta, Kireina?" (What's wrong, Kireina?)

Kireina: "Anata no te o hoji shite mimashou. Sore wa anata o ochitsukaserudeshou." (Let me hold your hand. It will make you calm.)

Kato: "Arigatō, Kireina." (Thanks, Kireina.)

Sako: "Sorekara ore wa anata no mō ippō no te o hoji shimasu." (Then I'll hold your other hand.)

Kato: "Arigatō, Sako." (Thanks, Sako.)

-meanwhile in class-

Kazuma: "Karera wa watashi o wasureru." (They forgot about me.)

Wendy: "Tada, Katō-sama. Anata o watashi no mono ni shiyou." (Just wait, Kato-sama. I'll make you mine.) –get out from the class-

Kazuma: "Kanojo wa doko ni iku nodarou?" (Where is she going?)

Tokuchi: "Sorekara kanojo ni shitagatte mimashou." (Then let's follow her.)

Kazuma: "Raigano-san?"

Tokuchi: "Ore wa sore o tasukeru koto wa dekimasenga, watashi wa kanojo ni fuan o kanjimasu. Watashi wa kanojo no chikaku de kimyōna enerugī o kanjiru koto ga dekimashita." (I can't help it, but I feel uneasy about her. I could feel a strange energy near her.)

Kazuma: "Mā..." (Well...)

Kazuma started to explain about what Wendy had done to him and Kato. They then started to secretly follow her.
