Chapter 17: Cosmo

We ended up become friends with Shigeto and Yanato. Yanato is in middle school. Shigeto went to the same shcool as us. He excused himself to send his sister to school. He also said that he want to meet us again at school during lunchtime. After that, me, Sako, Kireina, Kazuma and Kotori started to go to school together. While we were walking Kazuma asked me why I’m wearing a headband. I told him because it looks cool on me but he laughed at me.

Kazuma: “Kūru? Hontōni sō omou?” (Cool? Do you really think so?)

Kato: “Watashi ni tazunenaide, karera ni subete tazune nasai.” (Don't ask me, ask them all.) –while pointing the girls-

All the girl stared at Kazuma with a serious face. Kazuma silent for a minute. Sako grinned a little that time. She looks happy and cute that time.

Kazuma: “Watashi wa chōdo nanika o omoidashita.” (I just remembered something.)

Kato: “Sorehanandesuka?” (What is it?)

Kazuma: “Sakuya, Haruka Kasumi-san wa watashinoie ni kimashita.” (Last night, Miss Karasumi Haruka came to my house.)

Kotori: “Hontōni? Naze kanojo wa sono yōna koto o shimasu ka?” (Really? Why does she do such a thing?)

Kazuma: “Kanojo wa, ’Kosumo' to yoba reru soshiki ni tsuite oshiete kuremashita.” (She told me about an organization called 'Cosmo'.)

Kato: “Kosumo? Sore wa isshu no soshiki no dono yō na?” (Cosmo? What kind of kind organization is that?)

Kazuma: “Watashi wa amari shiranai ga, kanojo wa anata ni korera no koto o tsutaeru yō ni watashi ni itta.” (I don't know much, but she told me to tell these things to you.)

Kireina: “Sore wa karera ni sanka suru tame ni ekusoshisuto o boshū suru soshikidesu.” (It's an organization that recruits exorcists to join them.)

Kato: “Anata wa sorera ni tsuite shitte iru, Kireina?” (You know about them, Kireina?)

Kireina: “Hai, watashi wa sorera ni tsuite shitte imasu. Watashi ga kato to Sako ni au mae ni karera wa watashi no sewa o surukara.” (Yes, I know about them. Because they take care of me before I met Kato and Sako.)

Sako: “Honto?” (Really)

What Kireina told us make us shocked. I ask her why she didn’t tell us early, she said it’s because it’s her mission. She also said Karasumi is the one who gave Kireina’s her mission.

Kato: “Kireina, seikaku ni anata no shimei wa nanidesu ka?” (Kireina, what exactly is your mission?)

Kireina: “Sumimasen, papa. Watashi wa mada anata ni hanasu koto ga dekimasen.” (I'm sorry papa. I can't tell you yet.)

Kazuma: “Papa?”

Sako: “Kirei na! Watashitachiha-ka ni inai toki ni watashitachi ni denwa shinai yō ni itta! (Kireina! We told you to not call us that when we not at home!)

Kireina: “Sumimasen, mama. Watashi wa kanzen ni wasurete shimatta.” (Sorry, mama. I totally forgot.)

Kazuma: “Mama? Kore wa hontōdesuka?” (Mama? Is this for real?)

Sako and I spaced out for a while. With panic Kotori explained to Kazuma everything that happened yesterday. When Sako and I get back to normal, Kotori already finished explaining what happened yesterday to him. Kazuma seemed understand with what situation we’re in. Then, he told us his shocking secret. He said he’s an exorcist just like us with ice power. It is surprising us all. I asked him when did he turn became an exorcist. He said he’s just dream about it. But for some reason he thinks that his dream is going to become true.

Kato: “Anata o kinishinaide?” (It’s not worrying you at all?)

Kazuma: “Dōitashimashite. Kinō okotta nochi, watashi wa tomodachi o hogo suru tame ni chikara o tsukaitai to omou.” (Not at all. After what happened yesterday, I want to use the power to protect my friends.)

Kato: “Anata wa yoku yaru yo. Kekkyokunotokoro, watashi wa sudeni ekusoshisutodesu.” (You better do. After all, I'm already an exorcist.)

Kazuma: “Soshite, watashi wa sugu ni ekusoshisuto ni naru tsumoridesu.” (And I will soon become an exorcist).

Sako: “Ehem. Anata no jōhō no tame ni, watashi wa amarini mo ekusoshisutodesu.” (Ehem. For your information, I'm an exorcist too.)

We laugh a minute and then went straight to the school. After what Kazuma told us, I’ve got more reason to become stronger and it’s to protect someone dear to me.
