Chapter 56: New Member

Shigeto entered the clubroom with full of energy. He then greeted us properly and called out the Club's President.

Kotori: "Un?" (Yeah?)

Shigeto: "Kurabu no daitōryōdesu ka? Sate, kono kurabu ni watashi no namae o kinyū shite kudasai." (Are you the President of the Club? Okay, enter my name to this club.)

Kotori: "Hai?" (What?)

Shigeto: "Sore o hakkiri to iwanakatta nodesu ka?" (Didn't I say it clearly?)

Kato: "Īe, sore wa chōdo, naze imadesu ka?" (No. It's just, why now?)

Shigeto: "U ̄ n. Watashi wa shiki-kandearu koto totemo isogashikattadesu. Watashi no imōto, saisho no shiki-kan wa, tsuneni watashi ni mottomo ōku no shigoto o meijimashita. Shiken-bi wa, watashi wa yasumi o toru koto ga dekiru yuiitsu no jikandesu." (Well. I was very busy being a commander. My sister, the first commander, always gave me most the work. The examination day is the only time I can take a day off.)

Kazuma: "Imōto no yōna oto ga anata o kontorōru suru hitodesu." (Sounds like your sister is the one who controls you.)

Shigeto: "Un. Mā, kanojo wa saisho no shirei-kandesu." (Yeah. Well, she's the first commander.)

Sako: "Ahaha..."

Kotori: "Kono fōmu ni kinyū shite watashi ni okutte kudasai." (Please fill out this form and send it to me.)

Shigeto: "Hai! Arigatōgozaimasu!" (Right away! Thank you so much!)

Shigeto filled the form and gave it to Kotori right away. He then asked Kotori permission to make an announcement. Kotori allowed Shigeto request and then took a sit beside Sako. Shigeto started with asking why we didn't come to the COSMO Headquarter to train.

Kato: "Dōshite?" (Why?)

Shigeto: "Atarashī ekusoshisuto to shite, anata wa tsuyoku naru tame ni, anata no karada o hobo mainichi kitaeru hitsuyō ga arimasu. Tokuni Tsuin Unmei." (As a new exorcist, you guys must train your body almost every day in order to get stronger. Especially the Twin Fate.)

Kato: "Naze?" (Huh? Why?)

Shigeto: "Anata no 2-ri wa kono sekai o sukuu tame ni eraba reta hitodesu." (The two of you are the chosen one to save this world.)

Sako: "Wareware wa sore o shitte iruga..." (We know that but...)

Shigeto: "Ore wa anata no 2-ri ga anata no genzai no seikatsu o ki ni shite iru koto o shitte imasu. Anata ga tsuyoku shutoku shinai baai demo, kimitachi wa sekai o sukuu koto wa dekimasen. Moshi minasan ga jibun o kitaete inai nodeareba,'chikyū' wa arimasen." (I know the two of you care about your current life. But if you don't train yourselves, you guys won't be able to save the world. There will no 'earth' if you guys didn't train yourself.)

Kato&Sako: "Hai..." (Yes...)

We know we haven't train for a while. It's our own fault. We can't deny that. Kotori and Kazuma lower their head. The atmosphere suddenly turned silenced for a while. Kireina tried to cheer us up. We felt a little better after that.

Tokuchi: "Gomen, Danchou. Sore mo watashi no seidesu. Ore wa karera ni kunren o ukete moraubekidatta." (It's my fault too. I should have invited them to come training.)

Shigeto lets out a heavy sigh. He then told us to come to COSMO and train.

Shigeto: "Sore ja. Kyō wa nani o shimasu ka?" (What will we do today?)

Kotori: "Kurabu no katsudō? U ̄n. Watashitachi wa mada shiken no shū ni imasunode, kuru kamoku ni tsuite benkyō shimasu." (Club activity? Hmm. Since we are still in the exam week, we will study for the subjects that will come,)

Shigeto: "Eruku!? Benkyō?" (Errk!? Study?)

Sako: "Yoi aidea. Hagara-kun ga koko ni arimasunode, goisshoni benkyō shimashou." (Good idea. Since Hagara-kun is here, let's study together.)

Shigeto: "Erumu..." (Ermm...)

Kato: "Masaka, anata wa benkyō ga sukide wa arimasen. Anata wa kurasu B ni iru nodesu ka?" (Don't tell me, you do not like studying. Is that why you are in Class B?)

Shigeto: "Sore o sonoyōni oku koto ga dekimasu. Hehe." (You can put it that way. Hehe.)

Kotori: "Jā. Gōmon no junbi o shite, ore wa kenmei o imi suru." (Well then. Get ready to be tortured, I mean clever.)

Kazuma: "Kōun, Danchou." (Good luck, Captain.)

Shigeto: "Huh?"

Kato: "Anata ga daijōbu ni naru koto o negatte imasu." (I hope you'll be okay.)

Shigeto: *gulp

Kotori started to ask Shigeto a lot of questions. Most of the questions that Kotori gave weren't answered. Kotori started to tortured—I mean teach Shigeto with the subjects he's weak at.

Yanato: "Kare ga koko ni inai toki wa totemo taikutsuda. Sate, Kazuki o sanpo ni shōtai shimasu ne." (It's so boring when he's not here. Well then, I guess I'll invite Kazuki for a walk.)
