Fic title: Cupid's Cute Couple.

Y/N's POV

It was winter when we escaped the killing game.
It was just after Christmas when the survivors moved in together.
It was currently eleven-thirty at night and I'd woken up to find the six of us snowed in, so I was forced to practice archery inside. I had to relieve some of the tension in my body from the anxiety that I'd wake up back in that monstrous killing game, or worse, not wake up at all.
So, I was firing arrows at a target set up in the living room.

Nagito's POV

I knew that it was late to be up, but I had some job applications to send out online and various other mundane tasks to work on. I poked my head into the living room only to have an arrow shoot past my face. I flinched back, only to hear profuse apologies coming from the couch.
I gave a small smile to Y/N, the owner of said voice. "It's okay." I yawned, stretching my arms and taking my computer to the couch. Taking a seat, the bright monitor was blinding.
I yawned again, blinking rapidly.
"Aww, is somebody sleepy?" Y/N teased, placing her bow down and fiddling with her arrow.
"No, I've still got a ton of adrenaline from almost being shot in the face."
"You're definitely tired." She twiddled the arrow as I leant in to peck her on the cheek and it came millimetres from my eyeball. I jolted backwards, still exhausted.
"Can you stop it with the arrow thing? You know I love you but that thing almost took my eye out. That would be so despairing." I gagged at the last word.
"Oh, sorry." She chuckled, letting the arrow drop onto the floor with a clatter.
I placed the computer on the coffee table in front of me, switching it off. It was too late, and (as much as I hated to admit it) I was very tired.
I rested my head on her lap and Y/N blushed.
"Nagito?"
"Is this okay?"
"Yeah, but—"
I was in a weird state of almost-asleep-yet-almost-awake so all of her words blurred together into a silvery voice of unintelligible rambling.

Y/N's POV

I ended up mindlessly combing my fingers through his hair, playing with it slightly. It was so fluffy, like fiddling with a tuft of cloud.
I started mumbling to myself about how much he meant to me and how I was so glad he survived the atrocious killing game.
I wondered if when I inevitably fell asleep that I would wake up in a killing game again, a killing game where Nagito didn't survive.
I pushed the thought away. I could just shoot whoever kidnapped us. Besides, the chances of that happening again were - are - slim. Extreme slim.
I ended up going silent and thinking all of these loud thoughts.

Sonia's POV

"Shh! They're sleeping!"
"Ibuki, stop yelling."
"Sorry Souda!"
"Seriously, stop yelling!"
Voices played around in the darkness as we approached the living room. Y/N and Nagito were fast asleep, hugging and with Y/N's fingers still in Nagito's fluffy hair.
Fuyuhiko got his camera out, Ibuki squealed with delight, while the rest of us held our breaths to see how long it would take for them to notice.
Actually, Hyoko was literally holding her breath. She passed out three times until...
"Eh?" Y/N grumbled as she stirred awake. She glanced around, seemingly recognising her surroundings.
Then she spotted us.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" She grabbed her bow, which we didn't spot, and bolted up from the couch. When Nagito was abruptly awoken and spotted Y/N he held her back.
"Don't fall into such despair, Y/N!" He laughed. "I prefer the hopeful archer, if I do say so myself!"
