Title: Secrets and Lies (if you get this reference I love you).

Y/N's POV

I had a secret. I had a secret and it was trapped inside a flashback light.
When my first memories came back to me, before any deaths, before any pain, I was just me.
Y/N, your typical everyday girl.
Then, I remembered something important.
I was not a girl. I was a crossdressing guy.
I was the SHSL Tailor, Outfit Maker, whatever you wanted me to be seen as.
But I was crossdressing.
Tsumugi didn't seem surprised when I confided in her. In fact, she looked at me dully. "Huh. Good for you, Y/N."
She'd invited me to make outfits in her lab, but I'd declined. I told her not to tell anyone.
She didn't.
Though she kept her mouth closed, she was still a risk.
In complete honest, I regretted telling her.
It was evening when it happened. I'd made a few friends in the form of Shuichi, Kokichi and Kiibo. Theywere kind enough, different and charming each in their own way. I'd yet to tell them - I'd only told Tsumugi because she kept pestering me, saying something was up with me - but I desperately wanted to. I wasn't blind, though, they were taking a liking to me. I liked them, too, but would they feel the same if I revealed that I was a guy?
I didn't want to risk it. If anything, Tsumugi was the one risking it.
My friends and I strolled along the courtyard in the darkness, chatting about nothing in particular and trying to get our minds off of the game.
My monopad bleeped.
Confused, I looked at the bright screen with squinting eyes, my eyes far too adjusted to the darkness.
Secrets out in ten mins.
Odd. Very odd. Then, after the oddness subsided, I felt panic surge through me.
It was most definitely the mastermind. They knew.
It clicked with me, all of it did.
Tsumugi had told the mastermind. Or, alternatively, Tsumugi was the mastermind.
Either way, she had to go.
It could be so easy. A quick stabbing, maybe push her in the pool, it'd be worth it.
The potential mastermind would be dead. It was a risk I was obliged to take.
I looked at Shuichi, Kokichi and Kiibo, who'd each gone ahead without me. They'd hate me, not for crossdressing but for lying. They'd never speak to me again.
I had to go.
She had to go.

Kiibo's POV

Y/N had left us alone without a word. I couldn't help but be disappointed - we'd all planned to court her and ask her out. But, she was gone.
I pointed this out to the other two students. Shuichi sighed. "Maybe her monopad said something about the mastermind and she's off to investigate alone. Typical Y/N."
Kokichi grinned at the idea. "So? Let's go and find her!"
Before I could hold him back, he was running with a big childish smile on his face. Both myself and Shuichi went after him, racing, calling after him.
He skidded round corners, calling her. "N/N! Hey! Hey! Better not be trying to spice up the killing game, that's my job! Come on, Y/—"
He was cut off as he passed the library. He stopped in his tracks as he spotted Y/N go into the library. Tsumugi was in there, just leaving, excusing herself to grab a bite to eat in the cafeteria.
Y/N looked at us hopefully, since Shu and I had caught up and was staring at her. She had a shotput ball in her hand.
Before
We could even remotely react, she brought the ball down onto Tsumugi's head.
"Guys..." She spluttered. "I can explain. The killing game is over, I think, finished."

Kokichi's POV

I glared furiously. "What do you mean, Y/N?! You are going to die once the trial starts. It's game over for you."
My face was burning with anger and hatred laced my tone. I realised that it was not aimed towards her but towards myself for letting her do it.
"She was the mastermind, guys..." She was smiling slightly. She looked up. "I did it. The game is finished. Listen. Listen."
The monitors were all static, a faint outline of a familiar monochrome bear panicking through the fuzzy screen.
Shuichi took a step forward. "You didn't have to kill—"
"But I did!" She exclaimed. "She... I... I told her a secret. Look, my monopad." She dropped the ball with desperation, holding out her monopad with the message still glowing brightly on its screen. "I told her my secret and she was the only person who knew. She wouldn't be able to tell anyone in such a small time frame, so I..."
I placed my hand on her shoulder. "And your secret was...?"
She cut herself off with sobbing. "Oh my God, I killed someone."
"Yeah. Why?" I pressed.
She drew a shaky breath, wiping away her tears. People started filing into the library, Korekiyo and Angie asking what was going on and Kaede looking somewhat relieved.
"I'm... I'm a guy."
Everyone's eyes popped open. Some asked what was going on, others asked why she hid that she - he - was actually a guy, while some...
Shuichi and Kiibo and I hugged her. We exchanged looks. Looks that read, "Oh my God, I'm an angry bisexual who loves a murderer."
There was a crash outside. Y/N broke from the hug and fled, through the corridors and up the stairs and outside. Exisals fell, crashing as a dead-looking Monokuma stood in the midst of the crashing chaos.
The wall, the wall that separated the outside world and Hope's Peak, shattered. Thousands of people holding banners.
Hello to the Survivors of V3!
Y/N placed a hand over his mouth. He teared up. Memories, true ones, flooding back.
The Killing Games. The fanbase.
He hugged onto Kiibo and Shuichi and Kokichi.
Kokichi laughed his trademark laugh. "I think I could stay like this for a while."
Shuichi stared at Kaede from a distance, almost apologetically, until she nodded at him and gave him a thumbs up. He smiled. "Same here."
Kiibo didn't need to speak. The outside world was so loud and... strange.
The survivors of V3 stood on the precipice of a new future.
And, for Y/N at least, that future involved the three people she loved so dearly.
