yo it's toots school started today and i want to die but here's a new story. wow this is crappy...

"You've got to start being more careful," I sigh as I tend to Deidara's injuries. He smirks.
"If I was, I wouldn't be able to come see you as often." He winks at me as I finish bandaging his wound. I roll my eyes, but still smile at him.
"That should do it, now please just be careful," I beg as he stands up and grabs his cloak.
"No promises hm." He walks over and kisses my cheek before walking to go to the meeting Pein had called. I blush as he leaves.
Deidara and I had been together awhile now. I joined the Akatsuki as a medical ninja, around the same time as Deidara. He was always getting hurt, and still is for that matter, so we saw each other often. He goes out on missions often, so we don't get to see much of each other; I suspect that's why he's so reckless when he goes on them.
I am roaming the halls of the hideout when the members return from their meetings. I need to talk to Pein about needing more medical supplies, I am low on ingredients to make ointments. I find him talking to Konan near his office. I wait until he sees me before I ask.
"I'm running low on ingredients for healing ointments," I explain. "And I need to go gather said ingredients."
"That's fine, just take someone with you," He replies, nodding. I bowed my head in thanks and went to find Deidara. I go to my medical room and grab my ingredient list first, as I am on my way to find Deidara I read the list.
I am looking at the list when I more or less run head on into the blonde Akatsuki member. We both fall backwards, Deidara falling onto his ass. I manage to only stumble a few steps back and catch myself. I laugh a little at the sight of Deidara on the ground.
"Sorry.." I manage to say in between laughter as I give him a hand. He takes it and I do my best to haul him up, he isn't doing much to help me. Eventually he gives in and stands up.
"I was on my way to ask you if you would come with me to go get new ingredients for my healing ointments," I tell him, fidgeting with the list in my hand. "May I remind you it's ointment I use on you a lot, so you kind of owe me.."
"You've got a point there," Deidara looks like he's weighing the nonexistent options in his head.
"So in other words, you're coming with me," I say grabbing his hand and leading him to the exit of the hideout. Deidara doesn't protest, he just follows me out of the hideout.
When we make it outside I tell Deidara the places we need to go to harvest the herbs and he groans, "This sounds like a lot, how long will we be gone?"
"Don't act like you had anything better to do," I roll my eyes, lightly hitting his shoulder. "Just think of it as repaying your amazing girlfriend for using all of her special ointment on you."
Deidara huffs, but doesn't argue any longer. He creates a clay bird and helps me get on it, and he takes me where I need to go. After only around an hour I have all of the ingredients except one.
"What the hell kind of mushroom is this?" Deidara asks as I continue to scan the ground. "Is it invisible or something hm?"
"And another thing..."
When Deidara gets bored, he babbles and complains ceaselessly. I've learned to ignore it, but it pisses off the other members to no end. This is an instance of him being bored. I need a certain type of mushroom for the ointment, and it is proving to be harder to find than I thought.
I can tell Deidara wants to go home, but if he kept up his careless streak, he would need this mushroom as much as I did. Deidara follows me as I walk around this clearing, babbling the whole way.
"....then Sasori decided to start an argument with me about art for the fiftieth time hm. That guy wouldn't know art if it hit him..."
As Deidara drones on I spot the yellowish white mushroom I am looking for. It's growing in the crevice of two rocks. I walk Deidara over to it as he continues to rant, and I begin picking the mushrooms.
"Ya know, sometimes I just wish you went out on missions with me, because Sasori is bossy sometimes and that one puppet he wears freaks me out hm. Not to mention you're a lot better to look at than he is a-"
I cut him off by pressing my lips to his for a moment, "Shut up for a moment alright?"
He nods, leaning in to kiss me again, this time for longer.
"Can we go home now?" Deidara asks between kisses. I nod, and we hop back on his bird and he takes us back.
When we get back he follows me into my medical room and watches me make the ointment.
"(Y/N), I love you, you know that right hm?" He says, and I turn to look at him.
"Yes, I do know that," I remark. "And I love you too."
