91: Johnny

Nevaeh's POV

"all classes for Mr. Reth please go to room 336 during your period, thank you." I heard the principal say over the loud speaker.

"Uh I hate going over there, that's on the whole other side of the school. I dont have any other classes over there. Then I'm gonna have to walk all the way back." I said to my friend Sarah.

"It's not that big of a deal. Plus we never are over here so maybe something fun will happen." She replied.

"I doubt it." We walked a little more and that's when I saw him. He stood there talking to one of his friends I guess. His hair laid perfectly, he looked gorgeous. I was star struck for a second, I was stopped in my tracks like a deer in head lights. He turned and looked at me and I freaked out, on the inside of course.

Johnny's POV

"I don't know Johnny I don't know what I'm going to do," pony said wrapping up his story.

"I guess you could just ignore them." I said trying to give him the best advice. I looked around to look for socs but instead I was met with the eyes of a beautiful girl. Her hair was a beautiful brown and reached her shoulders. She was amazing, she was perfect.

Nevaeh's POV

We were both standing there staring until Sarah snapped me out of it.

"Nevaeh come on we're going to be late," she called when she noticed I wasn't walking with her anymore.

I smiled at him as I walked away hoping I left a mark and wouldn't be forgot by tomorrow. "Who was that," I asked.

"Who?" She said.

"That guy. He was amazing."

"Oh that's Johnny something. I feel like I know his last name but I can't think of it."

"Hmmmm." I said turning around. I saw his gave in the crowd of students to see he was already looking at me.

We walked into the classroom still thinking about him. He was in my mind all day.

I was walking to my car when I heard someone call my name. "Nevaeh!" I turned around and saw Sarah jogging over.

"Yeah," I said unlocking the door.

"Are you going to Buck's tonight?" She asked.

"Probably, you wanna come."

"Yeah sure."

"Alright be at my house at 6" I said opening the door.

"I'll be there," she said walking away.

I got in the car driving home. I sang along to the radio. Turning down my street I saw him walking along the side. I couldn't help but look, he seemed upset. I thought it would be weird if I asked whats up, so I just kept driving.

6 o'clock rolled around and Sarah showed up. "Hey," I said answering the door.

"Can you do my makeup," she said looking distressed.

"Yeah, what happened." I asked laughing a little bit.

"I don't know why I can't figure it out."

"Alright come on," I said taking her bag and walking to my room. I gave her a simple look them finished up mine. We got ourself together and left.

"What if they see right through us," Sarah asked nervously.

"Sarah I know Buck, he'll let us in anyway." I said referring to the fake ID's.

"Alright if you say so."

We walked in and I went right to the bar. Sarah stuck close to me for a while.

"Sarah go meet some people. Have fun." I yelled over the music.

"Nevaeh you know I'm not good at that. Plus I wanna know more about you and this Johnny kid." She said mocking me.

Johnny's POV

I walked around town looking for Dally. We were supposed to go to the drive in tonight but he never showed. I went to the Curtis's and he wasn't there so my next guess was Buck's.

I did a quick scan of the room and didn't see him there. So I thought I would ask Buck. I saw him at the bar serving drinks so I went over there. I sat down and motioned for Buck to come here.

"... I don't know. I think he's cute and all but what if he doesn't like me. Johnny's a cute name though isn't it." I heard the girl next to me say. I looked out the corner of my eyes and saw the girl that was in school today. She was beautiful. Her brown hair shined in the bar lights.

Nevaeh's POV last

When I finished my sentence I looked up at Sarah because she wasn't answering me. "Sarah, are you ok?" I asked.

She blinked but kept looking at something behind me. I turned around and that's when I saw him. Johnny was sitting listing to it all.

"How much of that did you hear?" I asked.

"Enough," he said just above the music.

I looked up at Buck who had also been there the whole time. "Oh my God," he said kind of shocked.

"Johnny can I talk to you...uh somewhere else?" I asked.

"Yeah." We walked outside and stood there awkwardly. Both of us to embarrassed to speak. Until Johnny finally spoke up.

"Nevaeh I think I should tell you I think your cute too." He said.

"You do?" I said looking up.

"Yeah. If you don't mind I'd like to ask you out."

"I would actually love that."

We stood there as Johnny slowly leaned into me. His lips hit mine and we kissed. It was wonderful and passionate.
