We finally arrived, Julia and I entered the carnival. It was around 2:00 pm (14:00) in the after noon, it wasn't bad. We looked around at all the games, tents, and rides. It was absolutely amazing, it almost made me forget all the creepiness that has been occurring.

I walked around with Julia a bit until I spotted my other friends. Quickly, I rushed towards them with Julia close behind me, the place was crowded but not enough for me to run towards my friends in a semi-straight line.

I engulfed one of my friends, Drew, with a hug. She was a small girl, around 5'4. She had wavy brown hair and brown beautiful eyes. She was fair skin and was constantly smiling.

God, I missed my friends.

I smiled at the others while a conversation broke out.

We all walked around and talked a bit while going on some rides. The day seemed to go by fast and before we knew it, it was 7:30 pm (19:30). The sun was setting and Max still wanted to ride some more rides.

I looked around as they all talked, the people kept coming. I surely thought that some would leave but it seems more had came.
Could there be something going on?

I looked over to Max as he was smiling and laughing while talking with our fellow friends. He really wanted to do more rides.

I looked around some more as we all kept walking, in the distance though I spotted people heading into this ginormous red and white stripped tent. There were kids, teens, and adults all heading into the place. Could that be the reason why more people had showed up?

It certainly caught my attention.

I looked back at my group and gently pulled on Julia's arm. She turned towards me with a confused look.

"Hey, can we all check out that tent over there?" I asked as the others slowly stopped talking and focused their attention on me.

I pointed to the tent as Julia turned towards Max, asking about that.

To our surprise Max didn't have a clue, when he did some research over this festival it never really talked about then tent yet everyone was drawn towards it.

Maybe it's something that the park added in last second? That's a possibility.

We all looked at each other, questioning if we should go.

It can't be a bad show right? Everyone's going in the tent so it must be good, right?

Thinking the same thing, we all made our way into the tent. Let me just say.. wow.

It was huge, the lighting was amazing and there were huge layers that led to the top of the tent with a net at the bottom- well not the bottom bottom but close to the bottom for when I assume performers would accidentally fall.

Nonetheless, I was in awe and we all found seats in the middle back, I sat between Julia and Alex.

Alex was a cute guy, not tall but very good looking. He was Hispanic and had short dark brown hair and golden brown eyes that were gorgeous. I smiled a bit as people finished coming in and the tent opening closed.

We all watched in amazement as the performers did flips in the air as they swung on the rope, there were monkeys and other tricks that were amazing as well.

It was about 2 hours in and the show was coming to an end.

Finally, the announcer spoke, "that was our last trick of the day! Thank you all for watching and have a wonderful night" we all cheered as people walked towards the entrance of the tent until a gust of smoke appeared on the center of the floor, flooding the whole bottom layer with smoke.

Kids, teens, and adults coughed as someone took ahold of the mic.

"Ladies and gentleman" a voice giggled, "please return to your seats, I have one- or a few more tricks I would like to show to you" the voice was dark but yet so alluring.

As the smoke cleared and people started to return to their seats I noticed the announcer was gone; instead there was a clown.. a monochrome clown to be persist.

It sent shivers down my spine as there were no color on this clown, just black and white.

Creepy

He had on an amused smirk as he circled around looking for someone.

Who could he be looking for?

His eyes scanned each and every person in this tent- must be at least 500 people; maybe more.

He giggled every few seconds as his eyes kept trailing from person to person.

Finally his eyes landed on me; or so I thought. My heart seemed to stop as I prayed in my head for it not to be me. He pointed his long arm towards my direction and extended is long, black, sharp claw. I swear it was towards me; I'm sure anyone in my section thought it was them.

"You" he announced as everyone looked in my sections direction.

"The girl in the" He trailed off squinting his eyes at me, reading my horrified face and smiling. His eyes shifted over to my friend Julia and giggled uncontrollably, "the girl in the lime green blouse with the little cat on it".

All eyes were on Julia and I felt a sigh of relief. However, it was pushed away as my friend cautiously stood up and walked towards the center of the place.

"Everyone please give a hand to my lovely assistant for the night~" he giggled as people started to cheer and clap- whistles were even heard.

Though, through all the cheering and clapping I couldn't help but feel like something was going to happen.

Something wrong, terribly wrong.
