Phan Oneshots

Domestic

So.....Not quite sure where I am going with this. So. yeah. No plan here. Just uh, kind of going.

Whenever Dan thought of 'domestic' it was a white picket fence with a spouse and kids in a nice neighborhood where all the parents are part of the PTA and if you were not you were a horrible parent.
He despised that. He never wanted to be domestic with someone. The suffocating thought of having to spend everyday with someone for the rest of their lives and say things like, 'love' and 'honey' and friday night "date nights" that are actually just drinking wine together in the living room. He voiced these things whenever the topic of marraige ever came up and a jolt would run through him whenever someone would ask,
"What about Phil?"

Before they started dating (and Dan was still denying any homosexual desires) he would laugh harshly and reply with a, "what about him?"
Then when they first started dating his reply was, "It's way to early to be thinking about anything long term."
Though now they have long passed the honeymoon stage by now though. They are more like those bickering old couples that are really cute and in love. It was a post he saw on some social media sight, probably tumblr, that said 'That moment when you meet someone that completely change your views on life all together." and a comment was the Twenty One Pilots lyrics, "I used to say I wanna die before I'm old but because of you I might think twice." that Dan started to think of his relationship. He started to notice every little thing. Every single little detail that they did, over analyzing anything and trying to figure out if they are on the doomed path of suffocating domesticity where they become a boring and sad couple.

"I'm going to get the groceries." Phil says while leaning over the back of the sofa where Dan is on his phone. Dan moves his head closer to Phil so he can kiss his cheek before he leaves without even looking up from his phone. Dan knew it was coming anyway, if Phil isn't in a rush or Dan isn't sleeping, busy, or in the bathroom, he will kiss his cheek as a goodbye. It's after Phil is out the door that Dan realizes that that's something domestic.
Maybe Dan doesn't even know what domestic means. Because Phil has been doing that since a year into their relationship and it has never really occured to him before.......He will pass this one off.

They were watching a show when Dan farted loudly.
"Dan!" Phil said as he started to wave his hand in front of his nose, "Dear lord Dan what did you eat!"
Dan laughed and Phil was laughing too, though he did push him when Dan farted again. "That was on purpose!"
"No it wasn't!

Dan never thought he would be able to freely fart in front of someone he was seeing romantically. Though that doesn't really mean anything....right?

Dan is attempting to make pancakes in the morning when a sleepy Phil comes up behind him and puts his arms around his waist and nuzzles his neck. Dan isn't wearing a shirt, only his pajama pants and Phil's arm are warm against his bare skin. Phil takes a deep breath and tightens his hold a bit before he rests his chin on Dan's shoulder. "It's too early. We should go back to bed." Phils tired voice came out. Dan smiled and looked at Phil thinking that it isn't okay to look so adorable in the morning, with his crooked glasses and messy hair. "It's 8 am. But if you want to go back to bed by all means go on."

Phil pouts, "But I want you to come back to bed too."

"Well I am making pancakes so you are out of luck." He chuckled out and looked back at his pancakes leaning into Phil's hold. His smile grows as Phil places small kisses onto his shoulder before resting his chin back on his shoulder and closing his eyes. When the pancakes are done and he has turned off the stove and placed his pancakes safely on a plate, he turns around in Phil's hold and wraps his arms against his neck. Phil opens his eyes and looks at him adoringly. He kisses Dan softly for a second before pulling away. "You're so cute."
