I know it's not a gif but that's so James and Euphemia omg ^^

"MUMMY!" James shrieked and ran to where she was stood, in front of the fireplace in Dumbledore's office, wrapping his arms around her. Eloise snorted behind him, her hair turning golden in amusement, and he immediately let go, his face red.

"Behave Belle" Fleamont tried to reprimand her but couldn't hold back his grin as he embraced her. Euphemia patted James' hair and walked to his giggling twin, pulling her into a tight hug,

"Hello my darling" she smiled and Eloise couldn't help but feel a large gratitude for her parents who didn't immediately bombard her with questions about what had happened.

"Hi Mum, Dad, how are you?" she grinned, not feeling odd when calling them 'Mum and Dad' despite only finding out that they were her parents five months ago, seeing as they were always more parental than Abraxas ever was and she had spent more than half of all holidays crashed at their house with James, Sirius and occasionally the rest of the Marauders.

"Fine thank you sweetheart" Fleamont laughed, ruffling her hair, "Now, you can say your goodbyes and then we'll walk to Hogsmeade and apparate"

"Lily I'm only going for a few days!"
"But I'm going to miss you!"

"Are you going to miss me too Evans?" Lily pulled away from her hug with Eloise to scowl at the boy, "Don't look at me like that love, and don't pretend you don't want a hug"

"Leave the girl alone James" Euphemia said with a knowing look, her hazel eyes twinkling dangerously similar to her daughter's, "And don't get grumpy because your sister is more popular than you" Eloise laughed and high-fived her mum,

"Way to play favourites Mum" James sulked but seemed unable to withhold a smile at the sight of his sister's obvious happiness at being with their parents.

"Umm Lou" Eloise turned to see Sirius, "Come with me a sec?"

"Sure Pads, what's up?" she asked, allowing Sirius to pull her away from the group.

When they had turned the corner and were out of the view of their friends and parents, Sirius pulled her into a gentle hug,

"I'm going to miss you Puffity-Puff" he said into her neck and she laughed lightly before wrapping her arms around his waist,

"I'm literally going for two days Pads" she pulled away and put a hand on his cheek, "When did you get so soppy Sirius Black?"

"When you came into my life Eloise Potter" he replied with an adorable grin and Eloise swore she felt her heart melt slightly at his words. She noticed he still had his hands on her waist and that the distance between them was gradually decreasing. Soon enough their faces were centimeters apart and she felt her heart skip a beat, memories of being pressed up against a wall flashing in her mind, Cameron's face popping up as her eyes closed. Soon enough, Sirius was kissing her and she felt her muscles tense in his grip - as did Sirius since he pulled away,

"Ah shit Lou, I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that" he ran a hand through his hair and stepped away from her, "I'm such an idiot, why would that ever be a good idea Sirius? It happened yesterday you twat Merlin!" Eloise's eyes softened as she watched the boy in front of her, chastising himself for kissing her, obviously caring so deeply about how she felt. He was so different to Cameron: he thought about her feelings and always put her first. Eloise couldn't help but smile as she stepped forward, putting her hand on his cheek to guide him to look at her,

"You, Sirius Black, are adorable" she smiled and moved forward, putting her lips on his, never feeling so sure about something in her life. He was wary at first - what if she was only kissing him out of pity? But he soon responded, pushing the thought away and wrapping an arm around her waist, the other in her hair. She smiled into the kiss and stood on her tiptoes, her hand still on his cheek. They pulled away and rested their foreheads together,

"I must say" Eloise whispered with a smile, "I rather like your method of saying goodbye"

~~~
"Well I'm sorry we can't bring you back with us son" Fleamont said, patting Sirius' head fondly,
"Don't worry about it Monty, I'm sure I'll survive" he grinned as he straightened out his hair. Sirius, never having been comfortable with calling them Mum and Dad for a fear of intruding,  settled with 'Monty' for Fleamont and 'Mia' for Euphemia.
Eloise and James left with their parents after a multitude of over the top goodbyes from the remainder of the Marauders who felt the need to break down into dramatic sobs on the floor...namely Sirius who clutched onto the back of James' robes as they walked away and was dragged along the floor, face down and emitting loud wails of
"DON'T LEAVE ME DARLING JAMSIE!", until Remus pried him off of his best friend and apologised profusely to the Potters,
"Don't worry Remus, we're more than used to Sirius' - for lack of a better word, antics." Euphemia laughed and pulled Sirius into a hug.
The family reached the large town house, formally known as Potter Mansion in the countryside, in a village just outside Oxford. Eloise grinned as she eyed the familiar sight of her home, the windows gleaming orange with the setting sun. She grabbed James' hand and sprinted indoors, taking the stairs two at a time until she reached her room. She threw herself down on her king-sized bed and beamed as James laid down next to her,
"Happy to be home are we?" he joked and Eloise nodded enthusiastically,
"Don't get me wrong, I do love my four-poster at Hogwarts, but nothing beats my bed".
"What about me?" James asked with a cherubic smile.
"Stop ruining the moment"
