Sorry Sirius' birthday dragged on for a bit, it was supposed to just be one chapter but it ended up being over 2000 words so I thougt I'd split it :)

Sirius wasted no time in ripping the paper off the first one, which happened to be Remus'. The boy grinned when he held up a black, leather dog collar with a paw print shaped tag hanging off, the word 'Snuffles' engraved onto it. There was also enough chocolate to feed several armies in the present,

"Ta, Moons." Sirius pulled him into a hug and picked up Peter's present. While Sirius was pulling apart the poorly wrapped present, Eloise leant into Remus' side,

"Glad you used his correct name." she whispered and she heard him chuckle as he put his arm around her shoulders and squeezed her,

"You'd never let me forget it if I didn't." he replied.

Peter had gotten Sirius several dungbombs and a box of Bertie Botts along with a lead that matched Remus' collar,

"Thanks, Wormy." he smiled and patted the smaller boy on the back, "Although I'm sensing a theme here." he said, nodding to the collar and lead. Next up was James' present. Sirius chuckled as he picked up the squeaky toy but gasped when he saw what else was in there,

"No way." Sirius grinned as he held up a leather jacket, brand new and of very high quality. Sirius beamed and tackled James into a hug, "It's the one I wanted!" he shouted as he pulled away and Remus raised an eyebrow as it looked like a regular leather jacket. James and Sirius shared a knowing smirk and the birthday boy turned the jacket around to reveal a small symbol to the left of the zip,

"A lion head?" Peter asked with raised eyebrows and Sirius nodded with a smirk,

"Just to piss of my parent's even more." he winked and Eloise passed him the next present,

"From Mum and Dad." she told him and he opened the small box to reveal an ornate gold watch that not only told the time but also the phases of the lunar cycle. Sirius smiled fondly at the watched and Eloise saw him tenderly stroke the watch with his thumb,

"Turn it over." James told him, sending a smile Eloise's way. Sirius turned it over and on the back of it it read,

'For Sirius,

Our son and the boy we are ever so thankful for coming into our lives.

We love you,

Mia and Monty.'

Sirius' eyes gleamed with tears and he sniffed. He had never received such a meaningful present in his whole life, especially not from his parents. Eloise knelt behind him wrapped her arms around his shoulders and rested her head on his. He held her arms and looked up, meeting James' eye who was smiling at his best mate,

"This is too much." Sirius whispered softly and he felt Eloise shake her head,

"You know nothing is too much for you, Pads. Not for us, or for Mum and Dad. Ever." James nodded in agreement and Sirius sniffed again and wiped his face,

"Right enough soppy shit." he said and the others laughed, Eloise sitting back down beside him, "I have one present left." he said, kissing Eloise's cheek. She grinned at him and stood up, offering him her hand,

"You ready, birthday boy?" she asked him and he took her hand, standing up,

"I'm not entirely sure."

Since it was 8am, Eloise and Sirius didn't need to wear James' cloak as they walked over the snowy grounds. Their interlocked hands were swinging in between them as Sirius tried to guess what the present was,

"It's too big to be kept in the dorm so it must be...A DRAGON!"

"No."

"Okay, not a dragon...a giant?"

"No."

"Hmm, is it a unicorn?"

"No."

"A centaur?"

"No."
"A lion?"
"No."
"A really big dog?"

"No."

"You're going to say no even if I guess it right aren't you?"

"Yep." Eloise smiled at him, "Although, at the rate your guesses are going, the chances of you getting it right are very slim." Sirius threw his head back in annoyance, groaning loudly and Eloise laughed, resting her head on his shoulder, "Calm down, princess, we're here." she told him and his head snapped forward, seeing they were at Hagrid's hut,

"My present is Hagrid?" he asked, pulling a face and Eloise giggled, pulling him to the door,

"Just come on!"

They knocked on the door and Hagrid opened it with a grin,

"Jus' wait 'til you see it." he told Sirius with a cheeky wink, "You got yerself a keeper there, Black." he gestured for them to walk out of the back door. Eloise pulled Sirius along and opened the door, smiling widely as he let out a loud gasp,

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" he shouted, looking at Eloise almost as if he was asking if it was a prank. She shook her head and he beamed, picking her up and spinning her around, chanting, 'Thank you thank you thank you.' into her ear. She laughed as he put her down and pointed over to the motorbike,

"Want to go and see it?" she pulled him over to the bike and he stood in front of it, eyes wide as he admired the gleaming vehicle,

"Lou, this is amazing." he whispered and Eloise giggled

"This isn't the best bit yet." she told him and pointed to a red button beneath the handle bars, "That cheeky little button makes it fly." she said and Sirius' jaw dropped,

"You're joking."

"Nope." she flashed him a toothy smile and he laughed breathily, cupping her face and pulling her into a kiss, pulling away and pecking her nose before shaking his head with a grin,

"This is the best birthday ever...and it's all thanks to you."
