Morning was upon number 12 Grimmauld Place and Eloise welcomed it begrudgingly. She had endured a rather awkward dinner the night before where Sirius exchanged little to no words with his father and she had caught the house elf Kreacher staring at her approximately every thirty seconds. Kreacher used to respect Eloise as she had been a Malfoy but after she was announced as a Potter, he resented her greatly- most likely because of things Walburga Black had said about her. Speaking of Sirius' not-so-dear mother, that's who the couple had to see at exactly 11 am that morning. Sirius was trying to put off the visit for as long as possible by not telling his father that they were awake and refusing to get out of bed. But, as soon as the grandfather clock chimed eleven times, Eloise and Sirius made their way to the master bedroom. They passed the staircase with the mounted house elf heads that Eloise had gagged at the night before and she averted her gaze. Sirius was gripping her hand tightly as they arrived at the door. She heard him inhale deeply and she squeezed his hand, bringing up her other hand to hold his arm,

"It'll be ok, love." she whispered reassuringly, "And if not I'll be sure to sock her on the nose, dying or not." she threatened through gritted teeth and she heard Sirius snort lightly before sighing and knocking on the door. A weak yet cold 'Come in' could be heard from the room and Sirius' turned the doorknob, opening the door on their impending doom. They entered the room and stood at the end of the bed. Eloise looked at the frail woman sat up on a dark green, tasseled cushion in the centre of the grand bed and could feel the hatred rising in her body as Walburga Black sneered at her eldest son. She looked awful...well, worse than usual. Her sharp cheekbones had become even more prominent as her face looked gaunt and underfed. Her skin was ghostly pale and her lips had as good as disappeared. The only colourful thing in her appearance were her icy, blue eyes. They were the same colour as Regulus' but lacked the warmth and humour that the young boy's held. The hatred could practically be seen swimming in the irises, like a tsunami of negative emotions, all rushing towards the cocky yet caring boy stood opposite her.

"Sirius." she acknowledged him in a scratchy voice, "You were obedient...for once."

"Spare me with the niceties." he spat and Eloise was eternally grateful that she wasn't on the receiving end of his wrath, "Why did you call us here?"

"Yes, your girlfriend." Walburga stated, turning her gaze to Eloise and completely ignoring Sirius' question, "Miss Mal- ahem...Potter." she corrected herself and Eloise nodded, not trusting herself to say anything in case she spat out a death threat,"You must be wondering why I summoned you here."

"I just- did no one just hear me say that?" Sirius said and Eloise bit her lip to stop herself from laughing,

"I have called you here, to my deathbed, to ask a request of the pair of you."

"A request?" Sirius asked, grey eyes narrowed and swirling with anger, "We owe you nothing! Come on, Lou." Sirius turned to leave but Walburga called out in an effort to stop him,
