"WE DID IT!" James lifted his firewhiskey glass in the air for a toast, "To us! For graduating Hogwarts!"

"To us!" the others cheered, the boys whooping madly and the girls daintily sipping at their champagne. It was a big gettogether. The Potters had invited the Sirius, Remus, Peter, Lily, Nathan, Alice, Mary, Frank, Marlene and her boyfriend Caleb to the mansion for a post-graduation party. Euphemia and Fleamont had gone out to dinner - though Fleamont reluctantly as he wanted to talk to Eloise about her pregnancy. He wasn't happy at first and stormed off in a rage (much like James) but soon calmed down and was beyond excited to be a grandfather.

Eloise was sat comfortably on Sirius' lap as she watched James twirl Lily around to the jovial music playing,

"I can't believe it's over." Sirius muttered in Eloise's ear as his chin rested on her shoulder and she sighed,

"I'm going to miss it." she bit her lip and Sirius rubbed her hips soothingly, "That's where my life really began,

"Why don't we go and visit Birdie there once a month?" Sirius suggested and Eloise laughed before casting a furtive look in Remus' direction,

"How do you think he'll cope without her for a year?"

"He's going to visit her whenever she goes to Hogsmeade."

"Oh...poor Moony." she pouted and turned to face Sirius who was frowning heavily, "You really feel bad for him, huh?" she gestured to his face and he shook his head slightly,

"I was just wondering how I'd be able to go without seeing you for a whole year." he muttered, a troubled look still on his face. Eloise tilted his chin to look at her and smiled at him,

"Well don't, because it's not going to happen." she said and his expression faded, "I'm afraid you're stuck with me since you impregnated me with your offspring." she shrugged and immediately pulled a face, "That sounded grim."

"I was just about to say that." Sirius laughed and Eloise ran a hand through his hair,

"At least I don't have to hide my bump anymore." she grinned and Sirius nodded,

"Now I won't get surprised everytime you reveal it and it gets so fucking big." he stroked the top of her stomach, "I'm excited."

"For the baby?"

"For everything. For life with you. To become a parent."

"Me too."

"I just wish everything else wasn't going on."

"But it is. So we just have to raise our baby as well as we possibly can, despite the circumstances."

"Agreed...I love you."

"I love you too."

"YOU GUYS ARE MAKING ME WANT TO BE SICK! COME AND DANCE WITH ME YOU SOPPY SHITS!"

"Was my brother always so charming?"

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to the first official Order of the Phoenix meeting." Dumbledore was sat at the head of a long table in what appeared to be an abandoned mansion just north of Leeds. "You are all here because you've displayed the potential to fight with us in the impending war against Lord Voldemort and his forces." he sent a grave look at the people surrounding him and Eloise took the time to look at the faces. There were obviously the beyond familiar ones of her friends and family but there was some who were less recognisable but she made sure to remember their names as Dumbledore suggested an introduction. When it came to her turn and she stood up, she was met with a number of gasps,

"My name is Eloise Potter and yes, I am pregnant." she gestured to her stomach with a small smile, "Uncomfortably so. This means that I won't be accompanying you on missions for the time being but I will be once I've given birth and recovered." she nodded and sat down. At her words, Sirius and James growled as they weren't happy about her or Lily going on missions, especially if she had a small child. Eloise had insisted that she was a part of the Order and had the right to fight so the argument diffused...though it was most probably to be resumed at a later date.

"The first mission will be to intercept a planned muggle attack in Sheffield in one week's time." Dumbledore clasped his hands together and surveyed the Order, some of the faces fearful though most of them determined, "Those attended said mission will be: Lupin, Longbottom, Pettigrew, Fortescue, McKinnon, Evans, Black and Potter." he looked over his glasses at those whose names he had read out, the boys nodding with stoic faces whilst the girls took deep breaths. Meanwhile Eloise was trying not to cry or wee herself...or both, as she heard that almost everyone she cared about was going on the operation. She gripped Sirius hand tightly and sent him a wide-eyed look. Sensing her uneasiness, he squeezed her thigh,

"It'll be alright." he muttered under his breath to her and stroked her leg with his thumb. She nodded and tried to be positive but each time her darned mind just came up with more gruesome scenarios - none of which ended in Sirius home in time for chilli con carne.

"Love, you need to relax."

"Oh wow, thanks, Sirius! I really wish I'd thought of that." she said sarcastically as she paced in the living room of Potter Mansion - her and Sirius were staying there until they had the baby.

"Eloise." he walked in front of her and held her upper arms to stop her from moving, "There are loads of us, we are skilled fighters and we have the element of surprise on our side. We'll be fine." he soothingly rubbed circles on the small of her back and she let out a small sigh, relaxing in his hold, "I'll be back first thing in the morning."

"Promise?" she asked in a quiet voice and Sirius chuckled lightly, pulling her into his chest and wrapping his arms tightly around her,

"I promise." he whispered, glad that she couldn't see the fear etched into his face,

"If worse comes to worse, turn into a dog." she advised and Sirius snorted,

"Good idea, Gorgeous." he smiled as he pulled away, "I love you."

"I love you too." Eloise leant forward and kissed him, her hands cradling his jaw and a single tear falling down to their entwined lips.

"Sirius." James' voice sounded from the door and they pulled apart. Sirius gave Eloise one last peck on the nose and walked to follow James and Lily out of the door, pausing to hug goodbye to Fleamont and Euphemia who were stood watching sorrowfully from the bottom of the staircase. Sirius cast one last look to Eloise and blew her a kiss before disappearing out of the door and into the ironic sunny weather.

Eloise stood staring out of the window for a few minutes before she heard the footsteps of her parents approaching her,

"Please come back to me." she whispered as she felt her father's arm fall to rest on her shoulder,

"They'll be alright, Belle."

"They'd bloody better be." she grumbled, the pinks and purples of the setting sun reflecting onto her worried face as she stared at the spot where Sirius, James and Lily had just apparated. The sea of doubt flooded her body as she let out a shuddered breath and her heart clenched as she worried about things that Sirius had said wouldn't happen...though she couldn't blame him for lying...he couldn't have known about what was to come.
