"I still can't believe it."
"Trust me...I know."
"I mean it's been two months...and I still can't believe it."
"Even when you can see this bad boy." Eloise smirked, gesturing to her slightly protruding stomach at which Sirius laughed and placed a hand on her belly from where he was sat behind her on his bed, her back against his chest as she sat between his legs.
"So you think it's a boy?" he asked and Eloise shrugged,
"I don't know, I unconsciously refer to him as a boy but it may be a girl."
"Have you thought about any names?" Sirius asked and Eloise beamed, turning around so she was facing him,
"Have I!" she began to bounce up and down slightly and Sirius chuckled,
"I don't really know why I asked that question, you've had names prepared since you were 11."
"Oh please!" Eloise waved her hand with a small smile, "It was way before that." she giggled and Sirius shook his head with an amused smile, "Do you want to know my names or what?"
"Yes! Please, my love! My life is incomplete without it!" he said dramatically, putting his hands together in a pray and Eloise rolled her eyes,
"Maybe I'll keep it to myself." she decided, sticking her nose in the air and Sirius raised an eyebrow,
"Okay." he shrugged, knowing full well that it would only be a matter of seconds before-
"I HAVE TO TELL YOU!" she shouted, her hair flashing a series of excited colours before settling on baby blue, "For a boy...Alex." she smiled and Sirius nodded slightly,
"Yeah..." he said unsurely and Eloise frowned, "But I prefer Alfie." he shrugged and Eloise's eyes lit up,
"Alfie! That's so cute." she huffed and stuck out her bottom lip in a pout,
"Then why do you seem so upset about it?"
"Because I didn't come up with it." she mumbled and Sirius let out a bark-like laugh, wrapping his arms around Eloise's waist and burying his face into the crook of her neck, "Do you not have any others?" he asked, smiling as he smelt the familiar smell of vanilla and jasmine that gave him chills every time,
"Well, yeah...but I really like Alfie." she whined, beginning to play with a lock of Sirius' hair,
"Who's Alfie?" James asked as he walked through the dormitory door with Lily at his side,
"Some cute First Year who we had to help because he was hit with one of Peeves' water balloons." Eloise lied effortlessly and Sirius nodded with a smile. Lily gave the pair a look as she sat on James' lap on his bed. Lily was aware of the 'situation' but neither Eloise or Sirius could pluck up the courage to tell James just yet. Euphemia and Fleamont hadn't been informed either but they were going to wait until they were face-to-face for that.
