The train pulled to a stop at Kings Cross Station and the Marauders stood up to leave, Lily and James having returned with wide smiles and prolonged glances to one another that only Eloise picked up on.

"Ready?" Sirius asked her once they were on the platform, their trunks in Sirius' hands and grim looks on both of their faces.

"Yeah, but let's say hello to Mum and Dad first." She said, gesturing to where the Potters were stood. Sirius nodded and they made their way over, Euphemia's face lighting up once she saw them nearing.

"Darlings!" She beamed, holding her arms out for a hug which the couple welcomed. Eloise went first, careening into her mother's arms and letting the familiar scent of lavender fill her up as Sirius went to hug Fleamont.

"Hello, sweetheart." Euphemia greeted, pulling away from the hug and resting her hands on Eloise's cheeks.

"Hi, Mum." Eloise smiled and Euphemia stroked her hair,

"You're sure you can't come back before you go to see Mrs Black?" Euphemia pouted and Eloise giggled,

"No, sorry, Mum but Sirius' dad is picking us up." She told her mum and Euphemia nodded,

"Well, we'll see you in a few days then." She smiled and kissed her daughter's forehead, "Now go and say goodbye to your father before you leave." She told Eloise and she nodded, leaving her mother's side and approaching Fleamont, passing Sirius as he went to be hugged by Euphemia.

"BELLIE BOO!" Fleamont positively bellowed and James erupted into laughter as many heads turned at the loud man. Eloise couldn't be embarrassed at her dad and threw herself into his arms, "Miss me much, little one?" He teased and Eloise nuzzled her face into his chest,

"Not as much as you missed me, old man." She countered and Fleamont gasped dramatically, pulling away from the hug and placing a hand on his chest,

"Old man?" He repeated and Eloise smirked at his theatrics, "I have never been more offended in all of my life." He sniffed and pretended to wipe a tear,

"Sorry, Pa. Truth hurts." Eloise shrugged and Fleamont's face broke into a grin and he stroked Eloise's hair,

"As much as you wound me, Belle I'm going to miss you for those days that you're away."

"Well you know what they say, Dad...absence makes the heart grow fonder."

"That's why your mother doesn't like me." He clicked his fingers and Eloise and James laughed heartily. Sirius appeared at Eloise's side,

"Orion's here, love." He told her and she nodded,

"Bye, Mum, Dad." She smiled at her parents and waved, "And bye, JJ." She grinned at her brother, "Don't miss me too much." With that she had walked off. Sirius' hand in hers as they made their way towards the two people waiting for them. Regulus had a small smile on his face as Eloise and Sirius neared, his icy, blue eyes were alright with excitement but he gave nothing away, his posture remained perfect and his expression neutral. The man at his side wore no expression either. His grey eyes appeared bored, (it seemed that Sirius had inherited his stormy orbs from his father). He was undeniably handsome, even as he got on in years. He couldn't have been more than fifty but strands of grey littered his slick, black hair. He had a strong jawline which he passed down to both of his sons and his face was blank as his eldest son stood before him.

"Sirius." He greeted and he turned to Eloise, "Miss Potter. Shall we?" He extended his arm to Regulus who had not yet turned seventeen and couldn't apparate alone. Sirius turned to Eloise and smiled weakly,

"Prepare yourself, gorgeous," He said grimly, "my family is many things but 'welcoming hosts' is not one of them." With that he turned on the spot and they apparated seconds after Regulus and Orion.

Once they landed, Eloise looked up and caught her first glimpse of Sirius' childhood home. The tall iron gates and dark stone gave the grand town house a very formidable vibe and Eloise had to surpress a shiver as they climbed the steps to the door. They entered the threshold and Sirius' grip tightened on Eloise's hand, obviously discomforted by having to return. Orion turned around in front of the pair,

"You shall visit your mother in the morning. You will be staying in your old room, Sirius and Miss Potter in the spare room next door." He told them and Eloise heard Sirius scoff lightly. As if they were going to be in different rooms. "You will join us for dinner at seven." He nodded sharply and left the hall. Regulus smiled slightly at the pair,

"I'm glad you're here...but please don't cause too much trouble." He pleaded and Eloise and Sirius shared a look,

"No promises." Eloise winked and Sirius pulled her up the stairs.

They reached a door on the top floor and Eloise didn't have time to read the plaque before Sirius flung open the door and

pulled Eloise inside. He threw himself on the bed and Eloise took the time to look around the room. She was greeted by Gryffindor Hangings and posters taped to the wall with bikini-clad muggle girls and motorbikes.

"Wow. This is...lovely." She muttered, pulling a face at the blonde, unmoving girl on the wall in front of her and sending Sirius an unimpressed look, "Really, Pads you should become an interior designer." She deadpanned and tore her gaze from his smirking face. There were photographs aswell. Photos of the Marauders throughout the years. Having snowball fights, pulling off pranks, getting drunk on firewhiskey in the dorm and launching into pillow fights. There was one photo however, that caught Eloise's attention. It was of Eloise and Sirius, curled up on the Gryffindor sofa with mugs of hot cocoa in their cupped hands. She watched at the scene unfolded. Sirius cracking a joke and Eloise bursting into giggles, laying her head on his shoulder as they stared into the fire, content smiles on both of their faces.

"That was in Fourth Year." Sirius spoke up, standing up from his bed and moving to Eloise's side. She turned to see him smiling wistfully at the photograph. "We used to sit together like that all the time and somehow it took us so long to get together." He turned to Eloise and she smiled,

"The best things come to those who wait." She whispered and Sirius chuckled,

"What is it with you and deep and meaningful quotes today?" He questioned and Eloise shrugged with a grin, not answering his question and looking around the room once more.

"Really, love this decor is just..." she grimaced and turned away from the muggle girls, "Should I be jealous?" She asked with a smirk and Sirius snorted,

"I ran away from here remember? I only stuck those up to piss off my mother." He placed his hands on Eloise hips and she wrapped hers around his neck,

"Good." She muttered, "Because red bikinis are so tacky." She nodded to the poster behind her which bore a muggle girl in a crimson swimsuit. "Besides..." she began with a smirk, slipping her fingers into Sirius' hair, "I'm much better suited to blue." She winked at Sirius and walked away, sitting down on his bed. He followed and she laid back into his chest once he had sat down,

"Thank you for being here with me, Lou." He said quietly, beginning to play with her hair,

"Well you know me, never one to pass up a party invite." She joked and he chuckled,

"I mean it though, thank you." He said again and Eloise turned to face him, grabbing his hand and lacing their fingers together,

"You don't need to thank me, Sirius. Even if I wasn't invited do you honestly think I would've let you come alone?" She asked and Sirius shook his head with a smile.

"I love you, Eloise Potter."

"Really? Well that's convinient because I love you, Sirius Black."
