Eloise, for perhaps the first time in five years, hadn't left packing until the very last minute. So, on September 1st at 9:30am she was leisurely sat on Sirius' bed, watching as he struggled to push all of his clothes flat and listening to the sound of her mother rushing them. She was eating Peppermint Toads and occasionally throwing one into Sirius' mouth when he turned his head around with his mouth open (he opted for this instead of simply asking for one). After looking through the clothes in his trunk once more, to see if he could do without any, he stood up and scratched his head,

"I could've sworn I packed my dark blue jumper." he said and Eloise didn't reply, looking at her fingernails, "You've taken it haven't you?" he asked and Eloise looked up. Sirius had put his hands on his hips and Eloise stuck out her bottom lip in a pout,

"It's so comfy!" she whined, "And it smells like you" Sirius shook his head and kissed her on the forehead,

"I don't mind, keep it." she grinned and popped another chocolate in her mouth. Sirius had finally managed to clip his trunk closed and collapsed onto the bed, laying his head on Eloise's lap. He blew a strand of hair out of his face and heard Eloise giggle,

"What?" he asked suspiciously and Eloise pointed to the sofa in the corner of the room. Sirius groaned loudly when he noticed his school tie laying there,

"Forget it, I'm just going to leave it." he muttered, closing his eyes.

"Padfoot, you can't leave your tie, Minnie will have your head if you don't wear it! Plus..." she ran a hand through his hair and he opened his eyes, "you look really good in it." she laughed when he raised his eyebrows and jumped off of the bad, grabbing the tie and looking for a crack in his trunk to shove it into.

"I can't wait until I can use magic." he mumbled and Eloise stood up to join him, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind,

"Only 2 months." she said and he smiled to himself, grudgingly opening the trunk placing his tie on top of the mound of clothes.

"Kids, we need to go!" Fleamont called from downstairs and Sirius began to mumble a string of curses under his breath. Eloise rolled her eyes and let go of her angry boyfriend, walking over to the trunk and sitting down on top of it. Sirius grinned widely and pecked her lips before bending down and clipping it closed. They walked downstairs, one of Sirius' arms around Eloise's waist and the other holding his trunk. As soon as they stepped off the bottom step they were pulled towards Fleamont and Euphemia, Eloise clutching her Dad's forearm and Sirius on his other side - Fleamont having pulled Sirius' arm away from Eloise. They apparated to the platform and were immediately met with the bustling noise of many parents and children, bidding farewell. Fleamont pulled Eloise into a hug,

"See you at Christmas, Bellie-Boo." he said into the hug and Eloise felt her eyes gloss over with tears. They pulled away from one another and her dad put a hand on her cheek, "I love you." he whispered and she pulled him into another hug,

"I love you too, Dad." she let a tear fall, unbeknownst to the tears in her father's eyes. He had got his daughter back, after 15 long years of thinking she was dead, he finally had her back in his arms, and she was better than he could've ever hoped.

Eloise moved onto her mum and she was pulled into a bone-crushing hug,

"I'm going to miss you, Belle." she said and Eloise held her tighter,

"Me too, Mum." she said and they pulled away, Euphemia smiling at her daughter, "But I'll be back before you know it, and then you'll want us gone." she grinned and Euphemia shook her head, laughing lightly,

"Impossible." she said and she stroked her daughter's hair.

"See you soon, Son." Eloise saw her dad pull Sirius into a hug,

"Bye, Monty." Fleamont smiled and ruffled Sirius' hair as he pulled away,

"James," he said, "keep an eye on those two will you?" he asked, gesturing to Eloise and Sirius who were holding hands and smirking at the frowning Fleamont and James nodded,

"You can count on me, Dad." he said, smirking at his sister who flipped him off behind her mother's back who was almost suffocating Sirius in a goodbye hug.

The farewells were over and the trio began to walk towards the train, carrying their trunks (although Sirius was carrying Eloise's for her). Eloise waved one last time at her parents before hopping on the train. They went to their usual compartment at the back where they saw Remus sat reading a book. Eloise launched herself at him and hugged him tightly,

"MOONS!" she shouted and he laughed, wrapping his arms around her,

"We saw each other literally two weeks ago, Puff." he chuckled and she pulled away, frowning,

"So? Is it such a crime to miss my best friend?" she asked and Remus shook his head, "Then hug me."

"You, Puffity Puff, are a loony." he said as he hugged her again. Before Eloise knew it, there were two arms around her waist from behind and she was pulled away from Remus. Sirius had pulled her onto his lap and now she sat opposite a smirking Remus.

"That's quite enough of that"

"Jealous are we, Pads?" Remus asked and Eloise heard Sirius growl right by her ear as he fastened his arms around her,

"I have a right to be." he said and Eloise turned to face him to see that he was already looking at her, a smug look on his face, "Because she's mine." She smiled at her boyfriend and kissed him. Peter walked in, a confused look on his face as Remus and James were fake gagging, the boy soon saw Eloise and Sirius and joined his other friends in making sick noises.

The Marauders were joined by a frazzled looking Lily Evans who sat next to Eloise and Sirius, both her and James trying desperately to avoid one another's eye. Eloise noticed and rolled her eyes,

"Merlin guys, you snogged, so what? Get over it" she crossed her arms and both Lily and James flushed bright red,

"Well way to be blunt, sis" he grumbled and the others laughed. Conversation began to resume as a greasy curtain of hair slipped around the door.

"Lily, can I talk to you?" All at once, silence fell, and six pairs of eyes glared at Snape.

"No, Snivellus, you can't." James said, immediately rising to Lily's defence.

"No one asked you Potter." He spat, and looked at Lily once more. "Lily please, I'm sorry."

"You're sorry?" She scoffed. "You think I would forgive you? I defended you, I tried to help you and you called me a Mudblood! I will never forgive you." Snape laughed bitterly.

"But you'll forgive Potter? He started all this, you're supposed to be mad at him not me!"

"Well guess what, Potter isn't an ungrateful arrogant pig-headed toe rag like yourself!"

"Well that's news to me." James muttered, smirking slightly and starting to ruffle his hair before stopping himself, remembering that Lily didn't like it. Lily threw him a smirk of her own.

"You see Sever - Snivellus, people change for the better and for worse. James here has changed for the better-" she winked at the messy haired boy. "-whilst you my dear, have changed for the worse. You're not the boy I was friends with in first year, so leave me alone. I'm done." Snape gasped like a fish, anger clouding his face.

"You hate Potter, you don't hate me! This isn't how it is!"

"Well, looks like it is." Eloise interjected, "and stop keeping tabs on Lily's life. Stay away from her you greasy little stalker and do us all a favour." and she flicked her wand, sending him stumbling out of the carriage before locking it and sighing contentedly and smirking. "Well now that we're breathing clean air..." causing everyone to laugh, even Lily.

"So you don't hate me?" James asked hopefully, and the redhead walked over and sat by him, taking his large hand in her small one.

"No James, you've been nothing but good to me over the last year, and I appreciate it. Looks like you're finally growing up." She giggled at his look of mock outrage.
"Where has all this sass come from Lils?" he asked and Lily smiled wider at the lack of stupid nickname. Eloise couldn't help but feel proud of her brother, who definitely was maturing.
