Ellington POV:

- the next day I went downstairs and saw Rydel reading and having breakfast at the same time.

- I came to her and sat beside her and looked at her.

Ellington: hey

Rydel: hi (she smiled looking at me)

Ellington: what you reading?

- I asked her because I couldn't see the cover.

Rydel: The Maze Runner.. (She blushed)

Ellington: again? (I said shockingly)

Rydel: I really like that book (she nodded)

Ellington: more like love it (I teased her)

Rydel: (rolled her eyes) anyways.. Did you sleep well?

Ellington: yeah, except the fact Ryland was snoring

Rydel: (chuckled) yeah well he snores a little loud

Ellington: (chuckles too) hey, do you wanna go get froyo today?

- her eyes widened and she smiled widely.

Rydel: YAS! (She screamed)

- I knew she loved froyo.

Rydel: you know me so well (she poked me)

Ellington: yeah yeah

- she finished her breakfast and I ate a sandwich while she was getting dressed. By that time the rest of the Lynch's came down and were eating breakfast.

- I finished mine and went upstairs to change to something cool. I went downstairs and everyone looked at me.

Rocky: wow! Where you going?

Ellington: I am just gonna go with Ry-

Rydel: (came downstairs) froyo here I come! (She screamed)

Ellington: that (I pointed out)

Ryland: (laughed)

Rocky: yay a date!

Rydel: it's a friendly date (she remarked)

Ellington: y-yeah (I said a little awkward)

Rocky: (smirked) sure you two

Riker: (raised eyebrows and chuckled)

Stormie: (shook head) have fun guys

Mark: but not a lot of fun

Everyone: (laughed)

Ellington: yes Mark.

- Rydel and I went to my car and we drove off for Froyo. In the ride we were jamming to some old songs we both liked.

Rydel: oh oh I love this song! (She fangirled)

Ellington: (chuckled) we are almost here

Rydel: yay! (She clapped cheerfully)

- I almost could never understand how can a girl be cheerful 24/7 non stop, who is always giggling and laughing, and her smile, just lights up a person's day.

- we arrived and went inside.

Ellington: so.. What do you want? (I asked her teasingly)

Rydel: hmm.. Well.. You know

Ellington: half honey half pistachio? (I smirked)

Rydel: (smiled)

Ellington: ok

- I ordered our froyos, and sat on the bench of the park that was across of the frozen yogurt place.

Rydel: hmm.. (She said enjoying her froyo) I missed this

Ellington: (chuckled) me too, haven't eat them forever

- but then I remember again why I wasn't with the Lynch's since Ross came.. I still had the risk in my hands..

Rydel: hey you ok? (She tapped my shoulder)

Ellington: oh yeah yeah, sorry, thinking

Rydel: oh ok (smiled slightly)

Ellington: (smiled)

Rydel POV:

- Ellington and I were talking like the old times, and when I mean old times, it's because I haven't seen him since Ross went to Italy.

- there were moments when he will stay blank and I would always ask him the same question "are you okay?" And he would just nod. I was getting worried.

Rydel: hey, let's walk around the park

Ellington: ok

- we stood up and walked around the park looking at the birds, trees, and the natural scent of nature.

Rydel: (breathed in) I love parks

Ellington: (smiled)

- then a cold breeze came.

Rydel: oh wow, forgot my jacket in the car (I said rubbing my arms with my hands)

Ellington: here (he said)

- he took off his jacket and helped me put it on.

Rydel: thanks (I smiled)

- he came closer to me and wrapped his arm around me. And I couldn't help but blush.

- and the first thing that came to my mind was "yes, I still have a crush on Ellington Ratliff"..
