Chapter 62

Rydel POV:

- After I came home, I was crying and Rocky and Ryland were making me feel better as the good brothers they are.

I talked to Ross, and then I tried to
sleep, but I couldn't because I was blaming myself for everything.

Riker and Ellington were in jail, but hopefully my Mom and Cheryl would pick them up.

- The next day I woke up with a strong headache that was killing me. I went downstairs and saw everyone eating even Riker.

Rydel: Riker!

Riker: Rydel!

- He stood up from the table and ran to me opening his arms while I did the same and we hugged tightly.

Rydel: I'm sorry, I didn't want you to go to jail

Riker: it's ok, I'm sorry, it's my fault too

Rydel: (smiled) I don't want to loose you are my best friend

Riker: (smiled) and will always be

Rydel: are you ready to get punished? (I whispered to him)

Riker: if it's both of us, yes (he whispered back)

- We pulled back and looked at our Mom and Dad and they looked at each other.

Mark: we will want to talk with you both alone.

Stormie: (nodded)

- Riker and I shared some glances and we nodded too.

Rydel: ok

- I sat on the table grabbing the yogurt that was prepared for me before I came.

Stormie: how are you feeling?

Rydel: just a headache.

Stormie: ok, I'll give you Aspirin after you eat.

Rydel: ok

- After that little conversation, we finished eating breakfast.

Rocky: can we go to play bowling? (He asked to Mom and Dad pointing at himself and Ryland)

Ryland: please (he did a praying pose)

Mark: yes, either way we need to talk to those two (my Dad pointed at me and Riker)

Ryland and Rocky: yes! (High-fived each other)

- After 2 hours everybody were doing something, Rocky and Ryland left for bowling, and Riker and I were left alone with your parents.

Stormie: Riker! Rydel! Come here!

- I walked to our hallway and saw Riker.

Rydel: you ready?

Riker: yeah.. We can't hide secrets from our parents.

Rydel: (nodded) lets go then

Riker: ok

- And we went downstairs to confront our parents.

~back to Italy~

Laura POV:

- the next day I woke up feeling naked and being wrapped around big arms. I realized I still had my towel around me and Ross was sleeping.

Laura: (breathed out)

Ross: (woke up slowly) hey..

Laura: hey (I looked at him) how did you sleep?

Ross: I have slept better

Laura: (nodded) I'm going to change

Ross: ok

- I went upstairs and put on black colored underwear and a tropical print dress. Then I went back downstairs.

Laura: what do you want to eat? (I asked him sitting again beside him)

Ross: (he wrapped my small body with his arms) I don't care

Laura: you know you still need to eat

Ross: I know (he whispered)

Laura: c'mon (I took his hand and made him stand up and we went to the kitchen)

Ross: (raised his eyebrows)

Laura: we are gonna have fun today, we are going to cook

Ross: (smiled and chuckled) ok, what are we going to cook

Laura: cupcakes?

Ross: sounds great, we have everything

- and we started to make cupcakes and it started with flour. I threw a small amount of flour to his face.

Ross: Laura (he said taking it off) revenge

Laura: oh no

- I ran and Ross caught me by the waist and kissed my cheek from behind.

Ross: you aren't getting away from me

Laura: (laughed)

- we continued to play with the food and doing weird stuff, finally we actually finished the cupcakes.

Ross: what frosting you want?

Laura: vanilla (I smiled)

Ross: and butterscotch (he smiled too)

Laura: (giggled) perfect.

Ross POV:

- Laura always knew how to cheer me up, it's crazy, and somehow she made me believe Rydel is actually ok.

Ross: this cupcakes are really good (I said after we put the frosting on top)

Laura: they are (she smiled)

Ross: (smiled too) thanks

Laura: for?

Ross: for cheering me up

Laura: (blushed) no problem

Ross: (chuckled)
