Chapter 10: Realization

NAPALUNOK ako dahil diretso na niya iyong tinanong sa akin.

It took a seconds before I finally move on, “I still can’t make a decision right now,” napaisip ako sa posibleng mangyari kapag kukupkupin ko siya.

Nang nasa may kalayuan na ako ay ‘diko na narinig ang kanyang pag-iyak. Nakokonsensya ako sa aking ginawa sa kanya but I still have this feeling na magkikita pa kaming dalawa, not now but soon. I am still walking with my barefoot inside this forest and all of a sudden, I was surprised when someone grabbed my arm. My reflexes suddenly became active that I didn’t able to catch up what am I doing.

Nakita ko lamang ang aking sarili na may hawak ng kristal na patalim na nakatutok sa leeg ni Christopher. Napalunok siya sa aking ginawa at napansin ko pang nagningas na pala ‘yung mga mata ko.

He took a deep breath when I set him free from my hands and the crystalloid dagger that I am holding earlier vanished from my palm.

And I noticed that he’s after his breath, “What’s happening to you!?” I asked him with my suspicious look. Something bad happened, that was my intuition saying.

Napahawak siya sa kanyang dibdib na hinahabol parin niya ang kanyang hininga. I let him took his time to recover from his state until he able to answer me directly. “I saw a group of creatures loitering from a far. Seems like they’re ambushing something…” sagot niya na medyo hinahabol parin ang kanyang paghinga.

Hindi ako makapaniwala sa aking narinig. This is what I am talking about to Haru.

“Where’s Zeref?” I asked him when Zeref’s image suddenly popped inside my head. His eyes widened for what I have said.

“What are you talking about!?” There’s a bit surprise in his eyes and worry about his brother.

“They went inside this forest to go after you!” I exclaimed when I realized what is happening.
