"Ciel!" You exclaimed out happily as you barged into his study room and was met with his large surprised eyes as he watched as you made his way over to where you were at. "I missed you!" You told him as you raced your way behind his desk and pulled him into a hug.

"Is that all," Ciel stammered out trying to sound stern, however the blush on his cheeks suggested otherwise. He shuffled a stack of papers in his hands before placing them to the side as he turned to face you fully. You released him from your grip and pulled yourself up to sit on his desk. It had become common for you to do so and Ciel seemed as if he didn't really mind.

"It feels like it's been a while since I've last seen you. Lately I've mostly been around the others or out in town so I haven't had a chance to see you," you told him with a sigh as you crossed your legs and glanced around the room wondering just where Sebastian was.

You could only assume that he was either doing his own chores or he was nagging the other servants for not doing their work correctly. The two of you had been training for the past couple of days and although progress was slow, you definitely had noticed that you were doing better than you had done previously.

Clearing your thoughts, you glanced back at Ciel to find him giving you a curious expression, his gaze locked on your face. You gave him a smile and laughed out as you asked him "What is it?"

Ciel looked startled for a second before he gave you a smile back and he shook his head. "Nothing really, I was just thinking about something," he replied back to you and you tilted your head wondering just what he was thinking about. Your gaze swivel over to the pile of papers that he had set down and you reached over to grab onto it.

"Does the Queen really want you to look over all of these, there's so much," you stated out as you flipped through the large stack, feeling pity for Ciel. Maybe you should help him sort through these like you had done for Alois back at the Trancy Manor.

"She does, but I have a week to finish looking through all of them, so you don't have to worry to much," Ciel stated to you and you nodded your head but still looked dismay because of it.

"Still when you think about it, it's not a that long of a time to finish looking over all of this," you told him as you placed the paper back down. "There so many here she should at least give you extra time to finish all of these."

"That may be true but whatever the Queen says I have the duty to follow them as I am here watchdog," Ciel told you as you slowly kicked your legs from on top of the desk. "Having said that, I'll have to consulate with Alexis Midford over a matter and I'll need to head over to Midford Manor to do so. I was wondering if you would want to join me."

You blinked your eyes surprised that Ciel would ask you this and you couldn't help but remember your run in with Edward. You remembered him saying that you could come visit him whenever and you could only conclude that this was a good chance to meet up with him.

"Sure I would love to come with you Ciel!" You exclaimed out happily to him and he gave you a cheerful beam. "By the way when are we leaving?"

"In a couple of minutes actually," Ciel stated with a sigh as he pushed his chair back from the desk. "Sorry to spring this on you so suddenly, but I have no idea on how long the meeting will go."

"No it's fine Ciel," you told him with a reassuring smile and hopped off of the desk with a stretch. "I should probably go and change into another outfit suitable for heading to the Midford Manor. I'll be by the front door in a couple of minutes," you said as you headed toward the door.

You made your way out into the hallway, making your way toward the direction of the room. You couldn't help but wonder what Ciel and the Marquess of Midford were planning on discussing together. You let out a gasp upon remembering that Elizabeth had called off their engagement and you wondered if that was the reason. If it was because of that then you could only hope that nothing unpleasant would happen.
