INT. GOAT MAN'S HOUSE–DAY
BELINDA stands in front of the crowd and has a piece of paper in her hand. GINA, MIN, and JORDANIA listen to her.
BELINDA CONT'D: We got the results! Erle is representing the machine group, Conner for the goat, and Lucy for void. Vanessa is the leader for the wandering souls. I guess that's a given since she got the key.
GINA: Are we going to see how much did they win by?
BELINDA: No, it would be mean to.
MIN: I would like to know the results.
JORDANIA: Yeah same, if the difference was one vote then a recount might be needed.
BELINDA: Nope, everything is good.
GINA: How do we know the polls aren't rigged?
BELINDA: No worries, you can trust me.
MIN: Are you sure about that?
BELINDA: Yes! I've dedicated the most time to the mystery, I can be trusted.
JORDANIA: We keep telling you to sleep more. You haven't been doing that.
BELINDA: I don't get enough sleep anyways without the mystery. I'll be fine.
Jordania stares at her with concern and Min stares at her with an unconvinced expression.
MIN CONT'D: I don't think—
LUCY enters the scene with ERLE.
LUCY CONT'D: Belinda! It's your turn to cook dinner!
BELINDA (to Lucy): Fine! (To the rest) I have to go now.
GINA: Talk to you later!
LUCY: So what's been happening?
GINA: You and Erle became representatives of the group.
ERLE: What are we supposed to do again?
MIN: No idea.
LUCY: Wait to be chosen by Goat Man if I recall correctly?
ERLE: I still think it's pointless to do this.
JORDANIA: Same.
MIN: I agree.
LUCY: I mean it might be useful?
GINA: Yeah, we don't have to do last minute deciding if we need a representative.
JORDANIA: Well, we'll see.
LUCY: Got any ideas on what you think might happen next?
GINA: Well I got a few...
Gina and Lucy chat amongst themselves and Erle, Jordania, and Min sit in an awkward silence.
MIN CONT'D: So.
ERLE: Huh?
MIN (pauses): Nothing.
Jordania mindlessly stares into space with a worried expression.
MIN CONT'D: What's on your mind, Jordania?
JORDANIA: Just thoughts.
MIN: What kind of thoughts?
JORDANIA: Just worrying.
MIN: Worrying about what?
JORDANIA: People.
MIN: What kind of people?
Jordania pauses and gives a frustrated sigh.
JORDANIA CONT'D: If you want me to shower you in compliments, all you have to do is ask.
MIN (rolls eyes): Damn it, Jordania. You seem to be bothered by something so I'm making sure you're alright.
JORDANIA: You're what?
MIN: You're important to the group. Every person counts to solving the mystery.
JORDANIA: What?
MIN: Also, you're fun to talk to.
JORDANIA: I'm not used getting compliments from you. Is this a trap? Are you trying to trick me into something?
MIN: I'm ignoring that.
JORDANIA: Who are you and what have you done to Min? Answer me you imposter.
MIN: Jordania, can't I be nice for a day?
JORDANIA: No. No, you can't.
MIN: Seriously, Jordania?
JORDANIA: Seriously, Min?
The two can barely hold in their laughter and Erle watches them in confusion.
ERLE CONT'D: When did you guys get so close anyways? At first it was hostile and now you guys seem pretty close.
Jordania glances at Min and Min shrugs.
MIN CONT'D: It's a long story. Right, Jordania?
JORDANIA (nods): All I'll say is that we came to an agreement and we grew closer since then.
ERLE: Huh, alright.
MIN: But I guess our dynamic has changed.
ERLE: You definitely are friendlier with each other now.
JORDANIA: Indeed we are.
