➼ There is no particular face-claim to Lyra but I've primarily pictured her to be Phoebe Tonkin and occasionally, Eiza González.
➼ I'm presently editing the initial half of the book very slowly (chapters with titles are edited-ish?) so beware of grammatical errors and other inconsistencies. I'm trying to smooth it out so please bear with me.
➼ Early on, you'll encounter something I'm calling Snape Scenes, because they're written in Snapes Pov. When I first started this book a few years ago, something made me think it would be wonderful to have it. Present me thinks past me was an idiot. Once I complete writing this book, I'll be condensing all those chapters into one. Currently, if you encounter them and find it boring or stupid, so do I. You can skip to Chapter 13 and miss out virtually nothing.
➼ It takes a while longer for me to figure out pacing and plot, but it does come slowly, somewhere along the way. As I said, once I've finished writing the book, I'll return to the early chapters and edit them with the growth and personal character development I've had ♡
