The last thing that Audelia Motter wanted to see in the driveway of her home was a large crowd of reporters. All she wanted to do was run to the store and pick up some medicine to nurse the raging headache and nauseous feeling in her stomach since Natalie was busy doing preparations for Tony's birthday party that night, but apparently she couldn't even do that without being swarmed by reporters.
The second her car door slammed shut, the plastic bag from the pharmacy in her hand, the reporters were swarming around her. They knew better than to tackle the woman, giving her just enough space to breath after an incident two months ago when one reporter got a little too close and Tony threatened to shoot them with the Iron Man suit.
"Ms. Motter! Is it true that you were supposed to take over the company?"
"Audelia, what can you tell us about the incident in Monaco?"
"Where was Imperial during Monaco?"
"Ms. Motter, how can you possibly support someone such as Tony Stark?"
It was the last comment that had Audelia freezing in place in the middle of the driveway.
Turning around, the woman held up her hand, the crowd of reporters immediately going silent as they saw the icy, cold look in her eyes. The trailed over the crowd until landing on a man in the front who had asked the final question she had heard.
"Excuse me, sir, but I'm going to have to ask you to clarify what you mean by 'someone such as Tony Stark'," Deli shot back at the man, gritting her teeth so hard she thought she thought she'd break one. The rest of the reporters around her looked uncomfortable, but this man held his head high as he held out his microphone toward her.
"He's reckless and only cares about himself. Tony Stark and the Iron Man weapon are a danger to this society and I think you should be ashamed of yourself for continuing to support him,"
A dangerous smile slipped onto Audelia's lips as she reached forward, taking the recording device and microphone out of the mans hands before throwing them on the ground as they shattered to pieces, her gaze turning cold once more as she took a step toward the man, him now backing away slightly.
"Tony Stark, along with the woman in the Imperial suit, have put their lives on the line the last few months to ensure your safety. I don't see you choosing to put your life on the line like that. Tony Stark may be reckless at times, but believe me when I say that I will never stop supporting him. And the fact that you even have the nerve to stand in front of me and berate me the way you just have shows how much respect you really have for your job,"
Audelia took a step back from the man, looking around at the group of reporters still circled around her.
"If there is anyone else in this group that would like to berate me and treat me like a piece of shit, I will personally call up my friend Iron Man and allow him to deal with you all. God, on his birthday of all days," Deli took another look around the group as they slowly backed away. "If you have any further questions regarding the situation that was handled in Monaco, I suggest waiting until Stark Industries CEO, Pepper Potts, gives her official statement within the hour. Until then, you all have ten seconds to grab your shit and leave my private property before I get security down here in an instant. I can guarantee your bosses would not be happy with the fines you'd be served for trespassing."
