Intro: "I started writing in 7th grade which was just two years ago. My ELA teacher told the class to write a short story for NANOWRIMO (I think that's how you spell it) so I wrote Fang which is one of my stories on here. I loved writing it so I decided to write other stories. Now at age 14, I am still writing some stories."

1) Are you working on anything at the present you would like to share with your readers about?

"Yes, I am working on some stories at the moment. I have only finished one story and I am working on others right now such as Disturbed Peace and Changed. Disturbed Peace is a Warriors fanfiction and I have been working on this for about 8 months even though it only has 9 chapters not including the prologue. Changed is about a girl who is a new supporter of LGBTQ+ and her complicated journey through highschool."

2) What, in your opinion, are the most important elements of good writing?

"In my opinion, there are many elements in good writing but the most important thing is inspiration. You need inspiration from somewhere to keep your writing going."

3) Writing can be an emotionally draining and a very stressful pursuit. Do you have any tips for aspiring or young writers?

"Yes, writing stories can be stressful and emotional. They take time to write and it's harder for people like me who have school also. One tip I have is just be yourself. Each person has a different writing style and every writing style is what makes each story and writer unique. Never think that you /need/ to write. It's a hobby and you should enjoy it, not be stressed by it. It's okay to take a break from writing if you need to. I haven't written a chapter for one of my stories in the last month or two since I am getting used to high school and I also have other things going on but that doesn't mean I've stopped writing forever."

4) What was your favorite part, and your least favorite part, of the writing journey?

"My favorite part of the writing journey is seeing how interested the readers are in the story. I love cliffhangers and I love it when the readers comment their thoughts because I can learn from them. Like one time it was too obvious what was going to happen next and someone pointed that out so I learned how to not make it so obvious.

My least favorite part of the writing journey is losing motivation. I love to write but sometimes I just don't feel like writing."

5) How many books have you written? Which is your favorite and why?

"So far I have /started/ writing 3 books but the only one I've finished is Fang. I don't have a favorite story because each one is unique and I have put a lot of time into all 3 of them."

6) Do you have a favorite character that you have written? If so, who? And what makes them so special?

"This is a difficult choice but my favorite is probably Crowpaw in Disturbed Peace. He gets captured by rogues and loses his memory. I love writing from his perspective because he is learning how to live with the rogues while his clan is worried and think that he's dead."

7) When you're writing a very emotional scene, how do you get in the mood?

"When I'm writing an emotional scene, I like to put myself in the character's shoes, or paws. I imagine how I would feel if I were in their situation."

8) What is the most surprising thing you discovered while writing your book(s)?

"The most surprising thing that I have discovered while writing my books is that when writing, I get lost in writing the story. When you are doing something you love, then you can lose track of time. Although when I don't have the motivation to write, I have to push myself to write more. I always make a personal goal to make each chapter of a story at least 1000 words long."

9) If you could spend time a character from your book whom would it be? And what would you do during that day?

"If I could spend time with one of my characters, it would be Fang. He was the main character in my first book, and I also can't have a dog where I live so it would be great to spend time with Fang for the day. What we would do is probably go to the park, play with a Frisbee, and maybe even spend some time with Bella and Pumpkin!"

10) What famous author do you wish would be your mentor?

"My favorite author is a writer on here and she is Kaylin_WC. Her stories are amazing and she only gets better at writing over the years. She left Wattpad for about 2-3 years but returned and started writing again. She is in college now and she might even start publishing books to the public and not just on Wattpad. She is my idol and it would be amazing if she were my mentor."
