Su-mi has been bestfriends with the girls in this group since their debut. She met them at award ceremony where they instantly became friends. Su-mi has also collaborated on a song with them. They hang out and have many sleepovers together at BLACKPINK's apartment.

Su-mi met them in 2014, right after she debuted. She met them at a photo shoot and she has remained bestfriends with Kai and Baekhyun. The rest of BTS sometimes gets jealous of how close she is with them.

Su-mi met Nam Joo-hyuk on the set of The Bride of Haebak where she played his love interest. The two became very close during shooting and continue to hang out with each other all the time. He was also her date to several award shows. The rest of BTS does not really like him because Su-mi gives him more attention than them sometimes.

Nam Joo-hyuk introduced Su-mi to Ji Soo. Ji Soo is Nam Joo-hyuk's best friend. Ji Soo, Nam Joo-hyuk and Su-mi are known as the Idol Three Musketeers. They are constantly seen together. The two boys will sometimes visit Su-mi at dance practice and the boys in BTS glare at them until Su-mi finally notices and tells them to stop.

Rowoon and Su-mi were co stars in the show Extra-ordinary You. They became best friends on set and even recording some songs together. Fans heavily ship them together due to their amazing chemistry on the show.
