Like the other members of BTS, Su-mi is known to have had a few pets.
About a year after her debut, she adopted a little hamster. His name was Snowball.

Sadly, the little creature died about a month after Su-mi got him. The boys felt so bad after consoling her as she cried that they bought her another hamster. It was orange and white. Su-mi named it Pumpkin. It died about two and half months after she got it. The boys let her have one more hamster. It died three months after she got it.
When BTS moved out of their dorm and into a bigger one, they found out the cause of the hamster deaths. It was a rodent killing flame that they had in their fireplace. It had been killing the poor little hamsters.
In 2016, Namjoon and Jin allowed Su-mi to get another pet.
This time it was cat. His name is Ollie.
