Su-mi has one dimple. Its on her left cheek and fans find it adorable.
Su-mi is normally very smiley and whenever she smiles her dimple is on display. A lot of the people that Su-mi meets will coo over her because it's the cutest thing. Many people compare Su-mi to a baby because she always looks so adorable.
Anyways, in 2017, BTS released the song 'Dimple'.
Many ARMY's wondered who the song was about as they do with any song, and they dissected the lyrics to figure out who the song was about.
One line of the song states (this is roughly the English translation) "I shouldn't have seen that cheek." There were also parts of the song that say "Dimple" as in one instead of 'Dimples,' plural.
Because of this, fans immediately thought the song was about Su-mi, and they were correct, the song was about Su-mi.
It was confirmed at a fansign when one ARMY asked Namjoon, who helped to write the song, if it was about Su-mi. He simply gave a small smile and nodded.
Su-mi herself did not know the song was about her and so Namjoon's response caused Su-mi to smile and get all flustered, as she normally does when put in this type of situation.
