Su-mi did not take part in the song "Crystal Snow" from the FACE YOURSELF album.
This was because the song was written for and about Su-mi.
In Strasbourg, France, where Su-mi practically grew up, it would get extremely cold but it only snowed once in her time living there.
Su-mi's first time seeing snow in South Korea was with the boys. She was so excited and filled with wonder as the snowflakes fell to the ground that the members wanted to make that memory last forever.
After seeing how beautiful the snow was, Su-mi would talk about the snow nonstop.
Every year when it snows it's kind of a tradition for BTS to go out and play in the snow.
The song, "Crystal Snow" may have been released in 2018, but it was written in 2017 as a tribute to Su-mi when she joined RedVelvet.
