Rachel's p/v
This morning has been pretty slow. Darry and I made pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. He was telling me stories from middle school. We don't really bond like that so I cherished every second of it.

We were on such good terms that we picked out each other's outfits. I picked out for him a 90s green long sleeve sweater, black levi jeans, black boots, and his black beanie. He picked out for me my dark green turtleneck, black mom jeans, and my black high top converse. The turtleneck is thin so I had to wear a jacket. Darry insisted on me wearing his brown coat but I refused to look like a grumpy English professor. We settled on his black leather jacket.

"Watch out!"
A football hits me on the right side of my head. The guy next to me stands up.
"Oh shit sorry! It wasn't meant for you."
Another guy runs over to me. "Shit are you ok? I meant to throw it at my friend."
"I'm alright." I say.
"Are you sure? We can take you to the nurses office or something."
"You guys are good. It didn't even hurt all that much."
One of the guy sighs. The one who ran over to me is looking at me with a concerned look.
"Once again, we're sorry you got hurt."
"You got hurt?" Tyler asks. I look up at him. My heart skips a beat.
"Um, yeah. A football hit my head."
"It was our fault. Maybe you can convince her to go to the nurses office." The guy sits in his seat. The guy who was staring at me walks away.
"You should really go-"
"Not you too. I'm totally ok!"
"You promise? We don't want you fainting over here."
"Haven't you gotten hit in the head before? No major injuries."
Tyler and I sit on our seat at the same time. We awkwardly laugh.
"Yes, I have actually. I think I was 10 when it happened. My buddies and I were playing football and well, they weren't very good at it. One of them underestimated how far they can throw and the football hit my forehead."
"Holy shit! Did you get a concussion?"
"I did. Pretty scary moment."
"And you didn't die?"
Tyler pats himself. "No, I don't think."
"Lier. You're a ghost, right?"
"Yes and I'm here to haunt everyone."
"Please don't haunt me."
"I would never haunt you. In fact, I would make happy coincidences for you. Only to you too."
"What a generous person you are."
"I'm full of love."
"A funny love that is."
Tyler smiles. "Love isn't silly at all."
I quickly nod and turn my body forwards. Nope, not dealing with this today. You'd think he would have had enough with making me fall for him over again. But this time it's not going to have an effect on me. This isn't fair to the most perfect boyfriend in existence. Cupid would not approval of this behavior.

Tyler's p/v
"Rachel and I haven't spoken to each other since like last month. Why now is she talking to me?"
"Why now are you talking to her?"
"Don't get all smart on me, Bowie." I kneel beside him. "Please help me."
"Bro I'm having girl problems myself, how am I supposed to help you?"
"Talk to her. Ask her what's up with her feelings."
"Ummm I did that and you chickened out."
"I was interrupted. But this time I'm not going to let her go."
"Just tell her that you like her! Chances are that she has feelings for you too."
"I've tried dating people while liking someone else. It's not easy. Rachel would have broken up with Kyle by now."
"Unless she's only if it for the affection."
I frown. "Listen, Rachel isn't like that. She most likely got over me. I understand her completely. I just..."
Bowie pats my back.
"I just wish I didn't fuck things up."

What thing I don't understand is how Mary can have so many friends. Kyle is making up a test from yesterday so I'm in the library chilling by myself. Mary is at the table across from me laughing it up. She's so self-absorbed, how are they not tired of her?

Figured, their outfits fall into the same category: aesthetic. Mary is wearing a white lace floral tank top, brown suede jacket, blue mini skirt, brown opaque leggings, white platform nylon wedged heels, and  white and pink floral sheer hobo style bag.
