Rachel's p/v
Today's weather is gloomy, but not cold. I'm wearing my white crop top, silver tube top, blue mom jeans, black docs, and my black mini bag. Darry said it's supposed to rain but I don't believe it. It's not even cold out!

I open the cafeteria doors. Tyler is sitting at the front table. Good thing Mary isn't here, I don't feel like comparing our outfits today.
"Love." Tyler says as he kisses my cheek.
"How did you sleep?" I say as I sit next to him.
"Really well. You?"
"I had a weird dream but good too."
"What was your dream?"
"I was on a boat trying to get to my friend's funereal, but the waves were so heavy that they drowned the boat. When I got to shore I had already missed the wedding, and everyone there was disappointed in me."
"What? That's so bizarre."
"I don't dream often so in that aspect it was definitely weird."
"I dream a lot but I rarely pay attention to them. Wish I could dream of you." Tyler holds my hand.
"That can be arranged."
"Do you know how?"
"Like this." I kiss his cheek. Tyler slides his hand down my back. I look past Tyler's shoulder. Declan is heading our way.
"Declan is here."
"Already?"
Declan sits across from us at the table. Tyler squeezes my hand.
"Morning, camper."
"Morning." Declan says in a grumpy voice.
"Woke up on the wrong side of the bed huh. You should turn your alarm clock sound into like a Beatles song, specifically one bizarre like Revolution 9." Tyler says.
Declan doesn't respond. Instead, he lays his head on the table.
"Where's that smile? You're always bright in the morning."
"Not in the mood." He mumbles.
"What's wrong?"
"You wanna know whats wrong?"
"Yeah, that's why I asked."
"I lost all my footage on a film I was working on. Not only that, I literally forgot to turn in my essay. To top it all off, I had actual milk today and not almond milk. Like who puts milk into a carton of almond milk?"
"Are you sure you can't get any of the footage back?"
"I tried all night. I only got two hours of sleep."
"Was the essay worth a lot of points?"
"Yes! I can't believe this is happening to me."
"It's going to be ok. Maybe talk to your teacher?"
"Mrs. Spicer is literally the worst teacher ever. No way she's going to feel sympathy."
"Lucky for you, I heard she's looking for a hookup."  Tyler jokes. Declan and I just look at him. When Declan is mad, he does not like to joke around. I don't blame Tyler for not knowing of course, but I know how he can get.
"Can you shut up? This isn't the time to try to be funny."
"Just trying to lighten the mood."
"No one asked for you too."
"It's not my fault your little dweeb video got deleted."
Declan tugs on Tyler's shirt. "Say that again." He says in a lower voice.
Tyler snickers. "You couldn't possibly be serious right now. Wow, I'm so scared."
"You have no idea who the fuck I am or who you're messing around with."
"Is that supposed to intimidate me? Why don't you walk back into your little math class playing bingo with the teacher. I have no idea why Rachel is hanging out with a loser like you."
"Hey, don't say that!"
"He literally just-"
"He's like that, ok. He doesn't like to joke when he's mad."
"How was I supposed to know that?"
"You're right, there's no way for you to have known that. But you shouldn't be mean."
"He was mean first."
"You're literally acting like a kid."
"I rather act like a kid than act like a douche. Why are you even friends with him?"
"I don't like Mary but you still hang out with her. Respect my friendships how I respect yours."
"Fine, whatever. We cool, Declan?"
"Yeah."
"Moving on, Tyler thought we should make a schedule."
"A schedule?"
"Yeah, like at lunch me and him will hang and then the next morning you and I can hang. That's if you're down."
"Yeah, I'm down. Who gets you on Monday mornings?"
"Um, I don't like that term. Think of it more as a um-"
"Vacation from you?"
"Sure."
"Sweet. Tyler gets a vacation from you in the morning"
"No way. I'm getting her Monday mornings"
"I'm not an object."
"Fine, I'll get her at brunch then."
"Then at lunch she can hang with me and my friends."
"Tuesday mornings I get Rachel."
"I'll get her at brunch then."
"Again, not an object."
"Who gets her at lunch?"
"I'd like to hang with my friends actually. A vacation from both of you."
Tyler and Declan glance at each other. They then frown at me.
"Oh but when you guys say it it's funny."
"Wednesday morning I'll get her." Declan says.
"Wait that's not fair you're getting her on Tuesday mornings!"
"I'll also get her at brunch."
"Nope, nah-ah."
"Then I'll hang with my friends at lunch that day." I say.
"Excuse me?"
"Thursday morning I'll get Rachel, again." Declan says.
"That's not fair."
"Easy there cowboy, you'll get her at brunch."
"And lunch."
"Nope."
"Then I'll get her Friday morning, brunch, and I'll hang with her and her friends at lunch."
"But I'm joining Robotics Club and that's at lunch!"
"Then that works perfectly! We got ourselves a deal."
"I don't like you guys treating me as if I'm some kind of trophy. You respect me or I'm not hanging out with either of you guys."
"Sorry, Rach."
"Yeah, sorry." Tyler grabs my hand.
"Should we walk to class now?"
"The bell doesn't ring until-" Declan checks his watch as the bell ironically rings.
"Let's go!" I say as I stand up. Tyler and I walk while we hold hands. Declan walks behind us.
