Rachel's p/v
Mary and I have been rummaging through each other's suitcases for an hour now. We set our alarm for an hour early because Disneyland requires the best outfit ever. In reality, we picked each other's clothes out before our flight. BIG MISTAKE.
"I bought this dress with the intentions of thrift flipping it into a two piece set. It looks so frumpy on me, where are safety-pins when you need them."
"You look adorable, Mary! And with your braids, literally I'm falling in love."
She twirls me around. "The hottie Rachel is falling in love with moi? Look at you with your new clothes. Match made in Heaven, right?"
"You made a really good outfit-"
"No, I mean you and the clothes are meant to be together. I'll stick it out with the dress. It's Disney after all.
"We can leave whatever impression we'd like."Erica enters our room. "Woah, you guys look different. Swapped clothes?"
"Actually, they're ours," I explain, "we picked them out for each other."
"Straight from our closets."
"Me next! I'll take your shoes, Mary. And I'll take your shorts, Rachel."
"I'm sorry, but this is our final outfits." Mary says.
"Oh. Well if you guys had let me know earlier I could've totally gotten Mrs. Holt on this too!"
"Yeah, I guess. Uh, finishing touches, Rachel," Mary opens my jewelry bag, "necklace with your name."
"I was hoping you'd choose that." I smile. Mary puts it on me. Oh, today is just going to be so, so good.Declan's p/v
"Can I get the yogurt parfait, please?"
"Yogurt parfait. I'll be back with your guy's foods."
"Thanks!" I hand him mine and Aiden's menu. Aiden walks back to our table.
"Had a nice wee?"
"I come back and you're British. Alright, now we talk bid-ness. Hold onto your pearls because this is a bomb."
"What's so urgent that you had to wake me up at 7 ik the morning."
"Breakfast is on me, remember! Bowie, Kyle, and I saw Quinn and her so call friends at the mall yesterday."
"So?"
"Quinn is signed to a modeling agency. But the guys and I think that there's something suspicious going on. Almost like the modeling agency is a scam."
"Oh shit. And Quinn just happily told you guys about her being a model?"
"No. Quinn thinks Rachel sent us to ask her all these questions. The girl can't afford all these designer brands when she's only ever had one brand deal. She can get the likes, the comments, the money, but none of it is real. People only want to be friends with her because she seems cool, not because they actually like her as a person. Now you tell me, should we let Rachel know? Quinn's radar is back on."
"Let's not tell Rachel anything until she's back from California. She doesn't have to worry about someone who only thinks to destroy her. Her weekend is going to be carefree and all for herself. We just have to make sure Quinn doesn't try contacting Rachel."
"Already have a plan. I'm going to find out what's really going on behind closed doors. If Quinn thinks to even direct a look to Rachel I will release every piece of information I have."
"Wow, and I thought I lo-"
"What?"
"Nothing!" I smile and look away. Smooth.Drake's p/v
Shapes? Square feet? Can someone assure me that I'm not blushing from ear to ear. I have a reputation to maintain. Guess I shouldn't have railed Freddy in front of some person's lawn. You wake up the next morning with an aching mouth. I'm unwillingly holding up the corners of it every time my mind replays everything we did, even when we got up and pretended like nothing happened.Freddy deserves to be taken on a real date. Well I mean, I've done so much for him. It's only right that be does something for me. My way of coping is thinking like I don't want to run away with him. Leave my mom behind, my sister, that would hurt. And just thinking about leaving them behind is pulling me back into reality. It's them before anyone else, even if I have to hide the real me for the sake of their love for me.
"Drake! Answer me!" Luna throws a pillow at me.
"What the hell was that for?" I throw it back to her.
"I'm hungry."
"Mom didn't make dinner last night? I didn't eat so my plate should've been saved for leftovers."
"Had it for breakfast. We ran out of everything again."
"And last time I checked, mom didn't leave money in the grocery jar. Ok, we'll just-"
