Rachel's p/v
"Egg and spinach omelet served on sour dough bread per Rachel's demande." Mary hands me the plate.
"This looks so good! Not even Darry's omelets can beat this, and the boy adds cherry tomatoes-"
"How can I forget?" Mary places two cherry tomatoes onto my plate.
"You are seriously too kind for this world. Can't believe we hated each other just three days ago."
"I was immature for letting Jonathan cloud my judgement of you. Although, we also didn't get along before he placed those copying ideas into my head. So really, our dislike towards each other was purely out of misunderstanding. I was quite the bitch wasn't I."
I giggle. "Only a little. You constantly had to remind me that you were so talented. I know you said part of it was your personality. What happened?"
"Not so confident anymore. I exaggerated the self-assured attitude to make it known that I don't take bs from anyone. All that led me was even more people having a reason to hate me."
"No wonder you weren't like that when we met. You were already losing your confidence." Jenna says.
"Bingo. Plus, Darry kept telling me that who I was more than enough to secure a true friendship," Mary looks at me, "sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"If there's one person my brother should be with is you. He needs someone like you to take care of him when he's upset because of me. He needs someone like you to put him in his place when he's misbehaving."
"Towards you. Don't think I've forgotten about the conversation I need to have with him."
"Darry was really quiet yesterday. No improvement?"
I sigh. "None, Jasmine. He knows I need time to be able to forgive him, but I don't know how much time I need. Will him and I ever be ok?"
"No one can break apart siblings. You guys are going to make it through."
"I sure hope so, Mary. Enough talking about my brother," I adjust the long pillow I'm sitting on, "let's talk about my party."
"More specifically what everyone wore."
"Good idea, Mary. Who should we talk about first?"
"Jasmine." She suggests.
"Me? I wore nothing special."
"I beg to differ! The details on your dress had me mesmerized."
"What about your lil dress? The lace did numbers on me."
"Rachel picked it out for me, of course it did numbers for you."
"How about we rate everyone's posts? I noticed everyone posted their outfit." Jenna says.
"Sure! Starting with Mary."
"Can't, I deleted my post."
"WHAT?"
Jasmine laughs. "Rachel ain't taking the news lightly."
"You looked so pretty in it though!"
"I looked rough, and not in the cool Skins rough type of way. Let's talk your dress, Rachel. Pink is so your color."
"One of my least favorites but it might enter my top 5."
"Someone call the news station."
"And just for that, we're rating your post." I pull out my phone.
"But I was being nice!"

"Channeling Audrey Hepburn I see

"Channeling Audrey Hepburn I see. My question is why the toilet seat is up."
"Technically closed, but yeah that's my bad."
"You've got a gorgeous bathroom, Jasmine. I can only imagine what the rest of your house looks like."
"Average. My mom is elegant though, mainly in her wardrobe. She bought that dress for me actually."
"Can your mom be my personal stylist?"
"As if you need one, Mary. Leave the openings for the people who need it."
"Like you? Did you SEE your dress? Your photo?"
"Yes, I took it. Meh work."
"Can you get a load of this guy?" Mary looks at me.
"Before we move onto Jenna-"
"Why did I suggest this-"
"Let's rate Jasmine's."
"I give it 7 cherry tomatoes out of 10." Mary says.
"I give it 8 just because the background is so pretty."
"We're doing? We're really doing this?"
"Jenns?"
Jenna sighs. "7 out of 10."
"22! You're in the lead, Jas."
"I'm the only person ranked."
"Not for long." Mary pulls out her phone. Jenna buries her face into her sweatshirt. I can't wait till we get to my angel's post.
