Rachel's p/v
Crashing the party full of models inspired me to dress up today. White UNIF angel tank top, grey low rise small flared pants, black docs, silver heart belt, new white headband, black leather watch, silver heart chain necklace, and my blue/white floral hobo style bag. Apart from the information Andrew gave me on Quinn's modeling agency, he gave me a few tips on how to elevate the basics in clothing. Lots and lots of accessories.I almost forgot the reason why we crashed the party in the first place. Greg and I got our information but we all agreed to meet together a different day to put it together. Tried doing it myself last night but nothing makes sense. Until we settle on a meeting time, I'm going to rest my brain.
"Thank you for helping me go over my lines. I've had the script for a while but my character just talks so much."
I giggle. "Well that's just one of his quirks. Though doesn't it lead the police to his crimes?"
"Yup. Never trust a dry cleaning lady after hours."
"Or anyone driving past a self car wash station. That little girl is public enemy number one."
"Justice for my character."
"I can't wait any longer, you guys need to know what Quinn said about her stylist and manager."
"Woah," Declan laughs, "easy there Greg, we'll meet up soon. In the meantime why don't you think about how you're going to convince your dad to let you go to more parties."
"It's not my dad's decision, it's her manager's. There's so much that was clarified, like why Quinn is even treating her friends like shit."
"Quinn has friends?"
"I'll text the group chat to meet during brunch. I also can't wait to share my information."
"That's settled then. I'm going now, can't let Quinn see me talking to you guys." Greg speed walks away.
"It's a shame we couldn't cover everything after the party. Was Darry mad after you guys left my house?"
"Nah, he knew I was going out. He did ask me why I didn't stay over at Tyler's house."
"Wait, he thought Tyler went?"
"Yeah. He didn't ask any further questions after I said Tyler didn't come with us."
"Why didn't he come?"The school bell rings. I give Declan his script.
"He's a supporter from a far. Tyler never liked getting involved in drama, especially if it doesn't involve him."
"But everything that you've asked him to join does involve him in some way. I mean, you're his girlfriend. And these things never hurt anyone."
"First it was because he was still friends with Mary. Now it's because he thinks Quinn is going to hurt me. He wants to protect me but doesn't get his hands dirty. Tyler is all talk."
"Is that a bad thing?"
"I don't know. Let's go find out." I get up and walk towards the exist. I open the door for Declan as he quickly chugs his apple juice. I'm not going to bring it up to Tyler. He can deny participating in my schemes, I just don't need to hear shit from him when I still go through with them."You should've stayed at the party, Mary. So many people complimented your outfit!"
"Well it was dark in there-"
"Oh, you're one to talk. Do you only own plain shirts?"
"Band tees, fancy button downs, I hate spoiled film bros shirt."
"I'm a film bro? Rachel, do I have permission to slap him silly?"
"Fine, I'll buy a I hate spoiled fangirls shirt."
"I love watching you guys get along." I hold their hands.
"Your guy's outing seemed like a lot of fun. I wish I was there to support you, love."
"I don't believe you, but I appreciate it."
Tyler frowns. "What?"
"Well I asked you if you wanted to come but you said it seemed too dangerous."Declan tries holding in his laughter but fails. Mary pretends to throw her Chromebook at him.
"Crashing an event you weren't invited to doesn't seem risky to you?"
"We didn't even end up crashing because Mary got us in. You're just too scared to step outside of your bubble."
"Are we seriously doing this?"
"Yeah, not in class please." Declan says.
"Ok, I won't nitpick."
"I'm sorry." Tyler whispers into my ear. I told myself I wasn't going to bring it up but he can't be so hypocritical. Especially in front of my friends! When did our spark fade away?
