Wang He Di has very high respect for Gao Zhi Ting. The other guy is goddamn near perfect and embraced him with acceptance as soon as he apologized.

He can understand how Shen Yue fell for him.

Zhi Ting has such a kind heart, but DiDi does not, for one minute, even doubt his capability to do what he just warned.

Good guys turn in to the worst villains.

He has first-hand experience in that.

"Of course, you won't have to worry about that DiDi because you won't purposely do anything to make her cry, right?"

The threat is as clear as the sky up their heads, he had to stop himself from smiling.

Although, it's difficult to be scared about something that he knows he would do his absolute best to prevent, still... even if he and Zhi Ting have become friends now, it won't do to show the other man a grin.

DiDi recognizes how pivotal it is to assure Yue's best friend of his feelings and intentions and he won't do that with a smile but with the face he puts on during the most critical battles of his life. He might have winged himself into Zhi Ting's good graces but he cannot continue relying on the other man's goodwill. He has to prove his worth. "I won't worry about it because, as you said, I will do my very best to never purposely cause her pain. BUT... if I become stupid enough to do something, which I sincerely doubt but still, I appreciate that you will be there for her. She deserves our protection. She should never get hurt."

Zhi Ting smiled. "You are very confident and resolute."

He smiled back. "Could you tell Yue that?"

THAT made Zhi Ting laugh out loud. "Want me to add more to it? I'll also tell her that even the end of the world won't push you to cheat on her?"

"That sounds like a line from a movie. I don't think she'll believe it."

"Idiot!"

He laughed now. "But if you told Xin though? That line you wanted to add? Will she be less angry with me?"

Zhi Ting became serious again. "My future wife is a whole other league. Remember, she didn't soften despite that luxurious massage."

Well... that's true. "Could she be serious about me buying a house and a car for Yue? I think I could do that."

"Dong Xin takes after dragons. She really is difficult to woo. Did you know that back in the early days, she chose Yue over me? If she was a guy, I would have already exploded from jealousy. They truly have such a strong bond. They're not "just" sisters. They're more."

DiDi can understand how two totally unrelated people could come to care for each other like family. He is lucky to have friends in his life who he shares the very same bond with.

"Gao Zhi Ting! Wang He Di!"

They both turned to see Yue walking to them.

"Oh?", Zhi Ting asked.

"Your Grandparents are here", she answered, "Xin says that the two of you should stop gossiping and you should go help her entertain your guests unless, of course, it's DiDi you want to marry."

Zhi Ting chuckled while shaking his head, and then walked back towards the tent where lunch is going to be served and where most of the guests are going to go to as they start arriving for tomorrow's wedding.

DiDi reflected that Xin has to be one of the best people he knows in terms of giving out creative and colorful threats. If he could, he would hire her on that skill alone and put her on negotiating tables for him.
