What if what happened in the Avengers movie was the wrong version? What if Tony did die in Afghanistan, but only after escaping in the suit? What if Iron Man is Rhodey? What if Thor is the adopted one, not Loki? What if it was Thor that completely lost his shit because he wouldn't get the throne of Asgard and attacked another realm, blaming it on Loki? What if Loki was the banished one, but didn't meet some girl in the backwaters of New Mexico and get tazered multiple times because he was acting like a psychopath? What if he had to face the big empty suit of armour I think is called the Destroyer that breathes fire and shit all alone in, I don't know, San Francisco? What if he had to destroy the rainbow bridge and watch his brother seemingly die from dropping off the edge? What if Richard Armitage didn't destroy the last vial of Super Soldier Serum? What if it had been Steve who fell off the train instead of Bucky? Would they have given him the serum? He would've gone after the Red Skull either way. What if it was him who crashed the plane into the ice and was unfrozen 70 years later? WHAT IF THE CHITAURI ATTACKED ON THEIR OWN!? What if Fury wasn't black? What if, for once, the HELICARRIER WASN'T DAMAGED AND DIDN'T NEARLY CRASH INTO A HEAVILY POPULATED AREA? What if it was Maria Hill who was killed instead of Coulson? What if the first place the Chitauri attacked WASN'T in America? What if the Avengers had a mansion? What if the movie was based on The Ultimates instead of the normal Avengers?
