"I... uh.... it's been a while since I've been in front of you, so I think I'll stick to the cards this time." Genius Billionaire Playboy Philanthropist Tony Stark starts off as he stands behind the podium

"There's been speculation that I was involved in the events that occurred on Freeway, on the rooftop-"

A reporter suddenly interrupts,
"Um I'm sorry Mr.Stark... but do you honestly expect us to believe that that was a bodyguard in a suit, that conveniently appeared despite the fact that-"

"I know that it's confusing.... it is one thing the question the official story and another thing entirely to make wild accusations or insinuate that I'm a superhero."

"I never said you were a superhero." The reporter bluntly replies

"You didn't? Well that's good because that would be outlandish and uh....fantastic" Stark lets out as he fidgets a little

"I'm just not the hero type, CLEARLY. With this laundry list of character defects, all the mistakes I've made.... largely public...."

Rhodes then moves slowly to Stark's ear,
"Just stick to the cards." He whispers

Tony gives a look of "yeah sure" before standing behind the podium once again.

He then puts the cards a little higher up to see what he's "suppose" to say

"The truth is........

I am Iron Man."

___________

In a orphanage, a group of kids stand in front of the television. All stunned at what is quite possibly the most shocking thing they have ever heard.

A 15 year old Y/N is the first to say anything,

"Am I on coke, or did that just happen?"

The kids starts freaking out, mostly consisting of
"Iron man is a guy in a suit?"
"Rich people get everything!"
"Is it weird that I'm turned on right now?"
"Can he make me one?"

"It doesn't surprise me even a little that my dear siblings wouldn't catch on." A kid in the far corner whispers out, but loud enough for them to hear.

Y/N turns away from the television to Leonidas, or
"L" as he everyone starts to call him

(Basically L is the awkward 13 year old smart kid of the family, and since he reminds Y/N of L from Death Note, an anime he loves to watch, he thought it would stick. No objection from Leonidas.)
