2). Do not inform the Lan about any part of your emotional state. See if the Lan notice either your emotional state or the emotional state of the human copy.
This all seemed like a hypothetical set of conditions, but today (some two days after creating a milk product) it really is an annoying set of constraints.
Arl would drink mostly milk and water and then created a dilute ethanol mix that was "mouthwash" to remove any lingering taste.
Arl had appeared quite happy, and there were display logs to back that up. At some point today, the displays of his state were becoming variable. The elLans did not appear to understand at all.
Arl had been saying with increasing weakness:

Arl had warned the elLans about the funny things that might be said under the influence of ethanol. They were soaking in the words and paying attention to just listening. The display of Arl's emotions had been interesting.
Arl closed his eyes with a slump. Then the medical display automatically changed to display heart status. Heart Arthmya.
The elLans and the Wroug woman worked quickly to figure what Arl had said. Earth had oceans with heavy solutes, compared to Wroug or Lan. Earth must have a big supply of minerals. They review Arl's records from the day he arrives and compare those with scans from today. "3" lifts Arl with a gravity lift, and "2" removes the gown. They run Arl under a shower and analyze was washed off. Definitely NaCl and others. They discuss ions.
They go ahead to make a solution based on what Arl had, but might be in lower supply today (scans and what was found by the shower. "1" takes the solution and puts some into Arl mouth, then she uses nerve signal projection to induce a swallow. This amount of minerals is about one tenth of what the shower collected.
Arl is wrapped in towels by "3" and places Arl on the examination table, "3" then sits on the bench at the wall. She remembers the stories from older relatives, and cautionary tale. A story about someone that had been chuckling all the away to the grave of another. It was a story about failing to see a problem for what it is.
Arlow Tsai's heart is beginning beat regularly again. They give a second dose of mineral drink (and induce a swallow).
Things calm down, and Arl regains conscienceless. He looks at the Wroug woman and says: "As I slipped under, I knew you would be the one (the one I would have to rely upon). The elLans were obviously just not sensing my fear."
The Wroug woman went out to the hall. Using a living being for an experiment, even a copy of a being, was not right.
