Ami was shocked with how clean her apartment was (much cleaner than when she had moved in). An apartment she had simply paid for without seeing, and as arranged the keys were in the door when she arrived. It had features she wanted, access to back paths and was architecturally separate from other living spaces (just storage spaces and stairs in any direction).
She had happy sleep filled days and nights after the Lan therapy session.
There were two tough nights in the middle of the week. She woke up in sweats and was anxious. She came close to contacting someone professional, but thought through previous advice professionals had supplied.
Things were quite happy right now. I have a long pattern of awful times. My body is accustomed to this. Agreeable times are a rarity. I can "unthink" this current situation, because I am not carrying a stress to cause it. My body is only returning to state it has often been in.
It took more than a day, but Ami returned to having good nights.
She imagined the faces of "first" and "second", and emotional labels appeared with them.
Ami knew Wroug women had a visual talent that showed them [emotion labels]. She had never had them before now, and only with Lans.
She also solved one problem assigned to her at work. It just sprang to her, the solution. Ami wrote it up roughly and sent it to her [business unit lead]. She apologized for the unrefined report, but she did not have the document tools at home. Suggesting that it be reviewed at the office before they submitted it. She also noted that she did not know when she would return to regular work hours.
Ami was really anticipating her next meeting with the Lan and slept as much as possible until that day.
At work, the [business unit lead] saw the solution Ami sent. It was a valuable prize award question. She reviewed it and thought it was the solution. This was a minor problem, though. The prize was subject to reclaim if it proved false. If they distributed the funds per the usual contract, it could prove hard to get it back from the office staff. She changed Ami's work status as affiliated, not employed. That way the prize could go the general fund and stay there until the independent reviewers could verify it. Once verified, Ami could be reinstated, and funds distributed.
