The "Wroug Three" wake up to find three small bowls of a paste food on the floor (near to where the water tap is).
They eat silently. Periodically filling bowls with extra water.
"1" encourages "3" to finish the food, and offers water from her bowl. 'Remember, they instructed us to eat. This could be the last Lan food we get in a while.'
"2" thanks "1" for the help last night in taking out their data connectors. She touches her data connector in her tiny thin pocket and then touches the place in "1"'s clothes where a disconnected data connector would go.
"1" realizes that her connector is still installed and removes it.
The door opens after a few minutes. They escort the elLans down the hall and directed into a very large room. It is well lit and has three large and well-appointed beds. The alLan escort says 'No changes to your instructions.'
The power source here is stronger.
"3" moves quickly, making an almost silent sound of joy, and jumps on the center bed. She slips out of her clothes and under the sheets. "2" walks over and physically pushes the beds closer to each other. They all get into beds and slide under sheets. Pillows and clean beds, certainly are a treat after so many days on Wroug and better than the room they just left.
"1" encourages all to sleep more. It does not last. "2" and "3" talk in whispers.
"1" gets out of bed and explores the room. She finds something she had hoped to find. Floor access panels to a round sunken pool/bath. She finds towels and some bath powders. She fills the bath, places towels equidistant, and hand mixes bath powder in the pool.
"1" calls over the others, who are happy to see a prepared bath. They find the towels and rest their heads on them. They wash hair and body and then return to resting heads on the towels. There is silence for a while. A nice relaxing bath.
As "3" starts to speak, "1" says: "Remember, this place has doors, but privacy is not a quality we should expect. We have all devoted our selves to not leave Arl's side since the beginning. This is our first chance to discuss amongst ourselves. Could Arlow Tsai have been a threat to us or Wroug?"
"2" says: "Well, not by natural inclination. Certainly."
"1" says: "But possibly by the act of others. He is a fifteenth binary copy. Was it a test of something they might try? An adorable, cute young alien. You would almost have to hug him. He is infected. Though this one was not actually.. actively infected. Can we say there never a threat? What if a copy arrives with motive or intention to harm? Even if he dies in the process."
"3" says: "We would have to judge each case. Our Arl is innocent and in danger."
"1" says: "Yes. We will not know.. anything. We will have to wait here. If they let us out, we might never get a chance. There are 70 trillion that Lan will probably hold a long time grudge."
"2" says: "Let them. I have no regrets. I will face every onslaught of rebuking requirements they care to throw at me. For you guys too, if they get mean, I will stand beside you."
"1" considers "2" to be honest, but is describing an optimistic solution to a serious problem.
They spend almost two hours in the bath, making some talk but mostly relaxing. They go back to the beds. "1" sets the bath to drain, clean and close up.
Once in bed, a large choice of elLan's sleepwear appears by Lan transport in six racks near the beds.
"3" runs over at once and grabs a pink two piece set with ruffles. She climbs into bed with a smile.
"2" goes over and looks for a while. She picks up a white long-slip style nighty, but drops her arm and bows her head.
"1" says: "You put that on! It's the one you want. It is 'ascendant white', you shouldn't allow sadness to creep in now"
"3" says: "yeah put it on."
"3" puts it on and smiles walking back the beds.
"1" goes over and looks. She finds a two piece without frills (but with ribbon sewn in along some edges) in royalty purple.
"1" says: "What do you think?"
They all think that it looks like a good choice. "1" puts it on and walks back to the beds.
She briefly closes her eyes in climbing up. She gets pillows to the face, thrown from across the other beds.
