Vanessa walked into Granny's Diner and to the counter

"Hello," The girl working there said, "Can I get anything for you?"

Vanessa shook her head "I'm actually looking for some people. Do you know where I can find Snow White and Prince Charming?"

The girl was taken aback "T-The fairytale characters...?" Vanessa knew that the girl knew what she meant. She was trying to keep their secret. 

Vanessa gave her a knowing look "You may know them as Mary Margaret Blanchard and David Nolan" 

The girl looked nervous. As if Vanessa was someone that they couldn't trust. Maybe she was. Vanessa didn't know why she was there

"Let me make a phone call... Why don't you have a seat..." She motioned to the booths. Vanessa nodded. She went and sat in one of the booths

She looked out the window and about town. It was small, she could tell it was one of those towns where everyone knew everyone. There was a clocktower across the street, underneath it a library. 

'Maybe that's the clocktower that was frozen before Emma got here...' She thought. She knows a little bit about the town from people she has talked to around the realms. She's been to multiple realms ever since Hook left

Not long later Snow and Charming walked in. The girl nodded over towards Vanessa and they sat down across from her

"Do we know you?" Charming asked. Vanessa wasn't surprised he didn't recognize her. He hasn't seen her since she was born, but he should think she's a little familiar considering she looks like a young Snow

She gave them a sweet but wicked smile "You could say that... My name is Vanessa. I'm your daughter"

Snow and Charming's eyes widened and they looked at each other. Vanessa wasn't sure they'd believe her, but judging by their reaction they did

"Wha- How..." Snow stuttered "How are you so young"

"I could ask you the same question"

Snow and Charming gave each other a look before turning back to their daughter. The look was a mix of confusion and guilt

"Why are you here? How did you get here?" Charming asked. Vanessa rolled her eyes. You would think they'd be happy to see their long lost daughter

"I wanted to see what life after giving me up was like. And I used a portal"

Charming raised an eyebrow "A portal? How did you get a portal?"

Vanessa rolled her eyes again "I made one. Myself. With my powers"

Vanessa could tell they wanted to ask more about the whole powers thing but they had to take care of something else

"We're so sorry Vanessa..." Charming started "We wanted to protect you from the curse..."

"We wanted to give you your best chance..." Snow added

Vanessa rolled her eyes "So much for that huh? My life would have been so much better if I had been a part of the curse like everyone else"

"What do you mean?" 

Vanessa thought for a moment about if she should tell them. "Nothing. Don't worry about it"

She went to leave but Charming grabbed her arm, stopping her 

"We're your parents. You can tell us..."

Vanessa snatched her arm away "No I don't think I will"

She turned and walked out of Granny's and right into someone
