Hook's Side

~Third Person~

*Knock Knock*

Vanessa groaned and sat up. She was in the room above Granny's that Ruby had given her. She glanced over at the clock on the nightstand 

10:15 am

There was more knocking at the door. She got up and opened the door

"Hey, Nessa..." Hook said, leaning against the door frame

"What do you want Hook?"

Hook sighed "I want to talk. I want to tell you my side of the story"

Vanessa thought about it for a moment. Should she listen to Hook's story? She looked at Hook's face. 

He had a pleading look on his face. He desperately wanted Vanessa back in his life. 

"No. I don't want to talk"

She went to shut the door but he stopped it. He pushed it open. "Please, Nessa... Just come have breakfast with me?"

Vanessa sighed "Fine. I'll be down in ten minutes"

Hook smiled and nodded. "See you then"

Vanessa shut the door. She went to the bathroom and took a quick shower

After she was done she waved her hand and a cloud of black smoke engulfed her. When it disappeared she was dressed in a red longsleeved shirt, black skirt, and boots

~Vanessa's POV~

I walked downstairs. Hook was sitting in a booth, looking nervous. I sat in the booth across from him 

Before either of us could say anything Ruby walked over

"Can I get you guys anything?"

"Coffee?" I started picking off my chipped nail polish

She started writing it down "Iced or Regular?" 

"Iced. With cream, sugar, and caramel"

I never did anything without having coffee first. Especially Iced Coffee

She smiled "Anything to eat?"

I shook my head and continued picking at my nail polish. Ruby turned to Hook "Anything for you Hook?"

"Regular coffee, and two plates of eggs, bacon, and toast. Make Nessa's eggs scrambled with melted cheese and mine over easy" He said, making eye contact with me

Ruby wrote it all down "Your breakfast will be out soon"

"Thank you, Luv"

Ruby left, leaving Hook and I alone.
