"Hey-" Emma's voice interrupted. She went over and picked up the necklace from where Charming left it. "-this is mine..."

"Where did you find this?"
Charming pointed over to the box "In the box. Why?"
Charming and Killian were both confused, they had never seen the necklace before
"An old friend gave it to me..." Emma looked sadly down at the necklace. "Someone who I haven't seen in years..."
"Renee?" Vanessa asked. She knew the story behind the necklace
Emma looked at her sister shocked. "H-how did you know?"
Vanessa waved her hand and her necklace appeared. Emma's eyes widened when she saw it.
"Y-you have the other necklace...? H-how?"
Vanessa took a deep breath and sat down. "You guys may want to sit, it's a long story"
The other three obayed and sat down.
"When I was around thirteen, Killian left to go do something and he was gone for a week-"
"I remember that, I left you at the cottage..." Killian interrupted
Vanessa nodded. "Right. Well after you left I opened a portal to the Land Without Magic-" She started explaining everything

"Nessa, I'm leaving, are you sure you'll be okay while I'm gone?" Killian asked his little sister, he was going on a trip to take care of some 'Pirate things' he wouldn't tell Vanessa what he was doing
Thirteen-year-old Vanessa ran out of the bedroom in their little cottage. "Yes, Killy, I'll be fine!"
Vanessa stood on her tiptoes to give him a hug, she was very small for a thirteen-year-old since she spent three years being malnourished and kept in a small room.
"I'll be back in a week" He kissed the top of her head and left. Vanessa waited a little while before grabbing her bag and shoving some snacks and anything else she'd need in it.
She opened up her small leather pouch and made sure she had the magic bean, she stole it from the witch that took her from the blue fairy, she had been hiding it in a hole under a tree when the man kidnapped her. After Killian found her she went back and it was still there
Vanessa was going on a trip, she didn't know how long she would be gone but she had to be back before Killian got home. After she had everything she needed she used her magic to open a portal, she would use her magic to get there and then she would use the magic bean to get back since her magic wouldn't work there
She took a deep breath and walked through the portal. When she emerged she was in the other world
The Land Without Magic...
Vanessa was in the woods not far behind a supermarket, she walked around the town for a little bit before a man came up to her.
"Hello Miss, my name is Mr. Walters, I'm with child services. Where are your parents?" He showed her a badge in his wallet that confirmed he was, indeed, with child services. He must have noticed that she was alone, which was probably unusual for someone her age.
Vanessa shrugged. Killian always told her never to talk to strangers.
"You don't know where they are?"
