Chapter fifty four: Beginners guide to romantic relationships

Rajiv's pov

I felt like a teenage boy who managed to convince his crush to date him, I felt excited, scared and enthusiastic at the same time, so when she kissed me in the cheek and ran out of the room, I wanted to pull her back towards me. I still don't know the point where I started loving her, but it had officially became the new normal.

Just when Isa had gone to shower, Ezra woke up once again, "What's wrong with my bubba? Are you hot? Are you thirsty?" I asked him while trying to rock him back to sleep, "No,no,no" he shook his head full of curly hair, just then Isa came out of the bathroom, fully dressed with her braids still wet. "Ezra, la mamma e' qui" (Mommy is here); after I passed him to Isa I got Isa a towel and dried her hair for her, she never dried well her hair, causing me to worry in case she caught a cold because of it.

Isa sat on the bed, trying to put Jaden back to his sleep, "Thanks" she said facing me, behind her "I want a kiss" I declared boldly, Isa turned to look at me "... I prefer a thank you kiss" I hesitated scared of her reaction.

Isa had a huge difficulty in physically connect or communicate with people outside her family, that was the reason why I wanted to take little steps.

Finally Ezra was set free as Isa put him down on the bed, she then turned around to face me "Just one".

As my lips were aching for hers, I held her waist action to which she gasped "Is it okay? We don't-" "I want to" she voiced, I got closer to her and she closed her eyes, so I laid my lips on hers.

"Thank you for accepting my love". We then switched the lights off, a babbling still wide awake Ezra sat between us, Isa sang to him a few Italian lullabies till she passed out.

I put away her glasses and covered her with the blanket, much later Ezra must have felt guilty for he stopped trying to climb on everything and just laid in the bed so that he could finally fall asleep.

Next morning

I was awaken by Adaline with messy hair, staring me creepily at the bedside, "Look who's here? My froggie" I yawned hugging her, "Where's your uncle?" "Downstairs" she giggled trying to escape my hug, as soon as my brain registered what she had said, I got up, washed my teeth and face and went downstairs to greet him.

Isa's pov

I heard Adaline coming in with Nathan, but my body was too sore to get up, after I heard Rajiv and Adaline talk, I fell asleep again, woke up later.

Ezra was trying to rip off my t-shirt, the kid was smart, and there was no way of denying it, I silently laugh when I lifted my t-shirt, and undid my breastfeeding bra.

Once he was done eating I burped him and let him go, while he took out all his diapers from the drawers in his room I peed, washed my face and teeth.

"Signorino, vedo che si è impegnato..." (I see you got yourself busy, lil man) Ezra shook his head "si", after I changed his diaper, we went downstairs.

My brother was already gone, "He had an important surgery scheduled for early this afternoon, so he wanted to practice" Rajiv informed me, passing me my iron supplements.

I took the my supplements, picked up Adaline and sat down at the table, her now long legs dangled at the sides of the chair.

"To sei divertita da tuo zio?" (Did you have fun at your uncle's?) "Si" she replied playing with my braids, I took out one of my three hair ties, from my wrist and tied her long hair in a ponytail.

"Mi sei mancata. (I missed you)" I whispered tickling her neck, "anche tu" (me too) Addy murmured, "Cosa faccio io oggi? (What am I going to do today?)" Addy questioned eating her toast, I ignored the grammatically sentence she had used and started to propose few activities.
