𝗧𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆
Sneaking in my flat, I tiptoe in behind Amanda, my roommate who is sitting on her bed tapping her phone.
I drop in my purse on Amanda's phone. Shrieking, Amanda turns back and glances at me.
"You... crazy witch," she scoffs.
Then, we have a pillow fight and started to laugh loudly.
Catching her breath, Amanda asks, "You seem to be excited today?"
"Coz I've got a new job in Merry Garden Restaurant."
"You mean the restaurant downtown"
"Yes" I gasp. I add "And, I met a guy in the restaurant who works as a waiter there. It seems he was my old classmate".
"That sounds great. Is he hot?"
I gruff and smack her arm.
She then says, "Well, Glad you got the job. Besides, you may munch some of its famed brownies there."
We chuckle and go quiet for sometime when I doze off.
