"Draco, what do you mean by you caught Lucius?", Harry asked.
Draco started to tremble lightly. "It wasn't on purpose, I swear! He used Crucio, and mother stepped in.. I didn't want her to be caught up!"
This was the second time Harry saw Draco so fragile, like he could just shatter anytime. Wait, Crucio?
"Lucius used Crucio...? On you?"
Draco nodded, his head down.
A flame ignited in Harry out of anger. Lucius Malfoy used one of the three Unforgivable Curses against his own son? Some father he is.
Harry held his tongue and sat down beside Draco.
"I didn't know what to do, so I just petrified him.", Draco finished.
Harry's heart softened, "It's not your fault, Draco. You did the right thing, you protected yourself and your mother. You'll be alright, Draco. I'll protect you, you don't need to worry anymore."
"Thanks, Harry.", Draco muttered as he leaned onto Harry's shoulders, hiding his face. Harry rubbed Draco's back.
"I'm always here for you.", Harry smiled.
Snape's lessons can wait.
Potions Classroom
Pansy, Blaise, Ron and Hermione were all trying to communicate with each other using their facial expressions from across the classroom while Snape was getting increasingly annoyed.
"Parkinson, Zabini, Weasley, Granger. All four of you will be staying back after Potions.", he scanned the class. "And where is Potter and Malfoy?"
The four of them shrugged their shoulders in unison.
"Defeating Voldemort does not give Potter a reason to skip my lessons.", Snape hissed, emphasising 'my'.
Pansy raised her hand, "Should I go and find them?"
Snape knew of her intentions, but whatever. "Go.", he said. Snape turned around to take a handful of rose thorns and rolled his eyes.
