Gakushuu makes a noise of surprise, book falling out of his grasp as he gapes. Karma, who has a very fast reflex apparently, immediately dives in and takes hold of the book, breathing a sigh of relief.
"What," Gakushuu wheezes.
"You heard what I said," Karma goes quiet for a good ten seconds, "Don't make me repeat myself."
Gakushuu bristles, of course he heard what he said. But who the fuck even– "I heard what you said, idiot. But why?"
"I like you," Karma confesses, truthful. "Romantic-wise."
Gakushuu doesn't know how to reply to that. Karma surges into panic.
"It's okay if you don't—"
"Come punch me then." Gakushuu says, cheeks warm. Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit–
Karma does.
