-You would be spending the night over at Will's place

-It would be late at night

-Maybe 2 or 3 am

-Will would be spooning you while burying your head in the crook of his neck

-Out of nowhere, he'd wake up

-And this boy would be PARCHED

-Usually he'd drink water but for these past couple of days he had been completely ignoring the existence of H2O

-Carefully he'd make sure to let go of you without waking you up

-All he'd care about is not waking you up

-If the floor would even make a CRACK, he'd fear you would wake up

-As soon as he's out of the room, he's hurrying up

-He doesn't want you to wake up and think he just disappeared on you

-Ice?

-Who needs it

-You've always teased him about drinking room temperature water

-But if Will was being honest, he could care less bout the temperature of his drink as long as it's not boiling hot

-After chugging a glass of water Will makes his way back to the bedroom

-The second he steps back into the room he's in stealth mode all over again

-As he's focusing on getting back in bed, he doesn't even bother to notice your mumbling

-Well, he doesn't notice it until he gets settled right back in his spot next to you

-At first, Will's mind immediately goes to the thought that he's already woken you up

-His mission of not waking you up had been failed

-At first he really had no clue what you were saying

-But then he realized it was just a bunch of random stuff you were saying

-"No, I don't like it that way, trust cheese wheel..."

-Of course, Will had to make sure you were awake

-"Y/n, love... are you awake?"

-And of course he got no response from you

-You'd end up moving around a bit in bed

-And at first Will was nervous

-"Is she having some weird seizure or some shit?"

-At this point he was sure you were still asleep

-But he didn't know until now that you were a sleep talker

-While you're talking, Will absolutely could not go back to sleep

-Why?

-It wasn't because what you were saying was funny

-It was because he was nervous something might happen to you if he went back to sleep

-So he'd sit there in bed

-Listening to your nonsense mumbling

-Every now and then you'd jostle around a bit

-And Will would immediately try to calm you without waking you

-"Hush, it's alright Y/n... I'm here, I got you."

-Every if you couldn't hear him, Will felt more comfortable trying to to talk to you to comfort you as you slept

-He was scared if he touched you too much he'd wake you up

-As Will listened to you talk, there was a bit he could understand

-You would say stuff along the lines of:

-"No, no, no..."

-"Fine, I'll take it."

-"What did you say."

-But eventually you'd calm down once again

-And the sleep talking would end

-Will would cautiously cuddle back up close to, still in fear of waking you up

-And before he actually tried to fall asleep, he'd listen for a bit

-Just to make sure you wouldn't end up talking again before he fell asleep

-The next morning Will wouldn't address your sleep talking right away

-You two would get dressed and head out for breakfast

-And while waiting for your food to be served, he'd casually bring it up

-"You know, last night you were talking in your sleep..."

-You'd feel bad

-You really hope you didn't wake him up

-But you play it off really casual

-"Oh no, did I wake you up?"

-"No, not at all."

-Will asking you if sleep talking was a normal thing for you

-And you'd explain you only did it once in a while

-You'd tell him it only happened when you'd have an incredibly weird dream

-Which would lead to Will asking you about what you were dreaming about

-And you'd tell him about your weird ass dream

-After you would finish explaining your dream, you'd apologize to him for sleep talking

-And Will would tell you to stop apologizing

-Yes, he was a little nervous in the moment last night

-But now that he knows what you were dreaming about he finds it funny

-Eventually your food would be brought to the table

-And while you'd eat you both would strike up a conversation about dreams and how weird they can be
